George Mason University and UVA SNMA Mentoring Program
Hi friends,

The Student National Medical Association (SNMA) Chapter at the University of Virginia School of Medicine is excited to partner with George Mason University to offer a mentorship program for students who are underrepresented in medicine or are the first people in their families to attend medical school.  We have students both at our main campus in Charlottesville as well as our regional campus at Inova Fairfax who are excited to help you on your journey, whether you are considering a career in medicine all the way to studying for the MCAT,  advice for applications and preparing for interviews. Please fill out this survey if you might be interested. We will do our best to pair you with a mentor who has similar interest or a similar background. We also hope to host Q&A panels throughout the year hosted by our mentors to answer frequently asked questions/areas of interest.

Please sign up on the form below by February 15th. We hope to create the mentorship pairs by early February.  Thank you so much for your interest! Please do not hesitate to reach out to us with any questions :)

Best,
Aaliyah Meade (adm8kn@virginia.edu) and Misky Sharif (mms2cm@virginia.edu)
