DEIB Parent Survey for upcoming events
Our school's DEIB Team is planning a few events for our school! We are planning a College & Career Readiness day in March to bring in various stakeholders, community partners, and hopefully you! We are looking to collaborate with you and leverage each others abilities to build and form partnerships with you, our families! We would love your input and also would like to know if you own a business, have a passion in something that you would like to share and bring to Rise! We want to recognize your talents and passions and bring them to our entire Rise community! 

Examples include but are not limited to: hair stylists, nail artists, own your own business, kicking off a new business and would like more exposure, own a food truck and would like to bring this to Rise, talented at sewing, etc.! 

We are also collaboratively working on an upcoming Family engagement night with a focus around diversity and need YOUR help! We will be focusing on how to care for different hair textures, provide samples in skin care and hair/cosmetology, and need YOUR help!  We are looking for partners to help provide a quick hair style for ALL scholars, hair stylists/cosmetologists to come out and speak to our scholars briefly, and guest speakers to read a "read-aloud" to each class, and every scholar will receive a copy of the book we will provide! The dates will be forthcoming but will take place in May.
