Dear Counselors and Former Stanley Elementary Students,

In the spring of 2020, Stanley Elementary PTO will award a college scholarship of $1,000.00 to an outstanding senior at  Blue Valley High School.

Qualified applicants must have:
• Attended Stanley Elementary for a minimum of three years
• Possess a minimum GPA of 3.0
• Shown active involvement in school and community organizations

The final candidate will be selected based on academic achievements, community service and extracurricular activities along with their essay submission and letters of recommendation. The deadline for submission is March 4, 2020. The scholarship recipient will be selected and the appropriate Blue Valley Counselor will be notified of the winner at the beginning of April. The scholarship recipient will be notified at the high school's annual BVHS Awards Ceremony.

Students must submit the application online (next section) and turn in supporting documentation by March 4, 2020.
Note: Supporting documentation must be in the form of hard copies and must be delivered in one comprehensive packet (all the materials together) to:

Supporting Documents required:
1. High School Transcripts (unofficial transcripts accepted)
2. ACT score (or SAT if ACT not taken)
3. 2 letters of recommendation

Please remember to follow instructions completely, and return your completed application and supporting documentation on or before the deadline. Unfortunately, in years past we have had excellent candidates who were disqualified in previous years due to missed deadlines or incomplete applications.
