The purpose of this survey is to understand what Emory graduate student-workers want to see in a fair contract, plain and simple. As we enter the bargaining phase, we will fight for your interests. Please take a few minutes to fill out this survey to help us ensure the union’s efforts reflect your values and serve you in the way you need. Your participation is integral to EmoryUnite!'s efforts and is greatly appreciated!

This survey will ask you to rate the importance of issues across seven (7) categories: compensation, health and well-being, international student support, transportation, parent/caregiver student support, workplace safety, and teaching & management relations. The entire survey should take around ten (10) minutes to complete.

Additionally, there will be demographic questions at the beginning of the survey. In an effort to prioritize privacy, identifying information will be optional. However, including information like name, department, year, and membership in marginalized groups is extremely helpful for our understanding of the unique needs of student-workers across a wide breadth of experiences. 

Data will be analyzed by a small group of EmoryUnite organizers (data use agreement linked below), and all identifying information will be kept private and used solely to determine bargaining priorities.
