Weddington HS Cheerleading: Elementary Cheer Summer Camp
Come Join in on the fun this summer!!! Spread the word that The Weddington HS 3-peat State Champions and Nationally ranked cheerleaders would love to share their passion for cheer with your children! Please see below for more details about our Elementary Cheer Summer Camp:
When will camp be held? Camp dates are from Monday, June 20th to Thursday, June 23rd from 9:00 am-12:00 pm, with early drop off starting at 8:30.
Where will I need to drop off/ pick up my athlete? Camp will be held in the Weddington High School gymnasium, so please drop your athlete off at the gym entrance doors by the bus loop, next to the student parking lot!
Who can sign up for camp? Any rising k-5th grade student from any Weddington-area elementary school! No cheer experience necessary, but a positive attitude is required! :)
What will athletes be doing at camp? All athletes will be heavily supervised and well instructed on a variety of cheerleading skills that are fun, age-level appropriate, and safe! (Many of which you might see our WHS Cheerleaders do on the sidelines at football games!)
What should my athlete bring to camp? Please send them with plenty of water, a small NUT FREE snack, closed-toed athletic shoes (ones with laces, please!), wearing appropriate athletic clothes and a SMILE! Please also bring them with a signed liability waiver that is linked below. We will have extras on hand if needed but would prefer your child to come in ready to go!
How much is camp, and how can I make a payment? Camp for this session is $145, and payments can be made online (via the Weddington High School Online School Payment Portal) by following the link below!
