The FAMU College of Education invites you to celebrate this momentous occasion, showcasing our new creative spaces. The lab has advanced tools, machinery, and resources for digital fabrication, rapid prototyping, and interactive learning. This initiative is a testament to our commitment to enhancing and enriching education, implementing innovation, and inspiring entrepreneurship for our students, faculty, staff, and the surrounding community.
Event Highlights Include:
- President’s Welcome (10:00- 10:15 a.m.)
- Ribbon-cutting ceremony to officially open the lab (10:15 - 10:30 a.m.)
- Words from distinguished community leaders and university officials (10:30 a.m. -11:15 a.m.)
- Lunch 11:30 a.m. – 12:00 p.m
- Public guided tours of the lab, live demonstrations, including 3D printing and laser cutting, engaging in hands-on activities and workshops for attendees, and opportunities for networking with professionals from various industries (12:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m.)
