2023 STUF UN Go Workshop & Gala - New York Registration Form

What is the United Nations? 

What are the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)? 

How does Taiwan participate in international society and promote the SDGs while being blocked from the UN? 

What can you do for Taiwan to be part of the international community? 

You'll know it all at STUF UN Go Workshop organized by STUF United Fund, an nonprofit NGO registered in the U.S. with Consultative Status with the United Nations ECOSOC.

STUF Untied Fund's "UN Go!" program provides young Taiwanese American professionals and college students a chance to understand the above issues and cultivate interest in participating in international organizations, including the United Nations.

Through interactive workshops, the project participants will also brainstorm and design projects highlighting Taiwan's global presence.

After two sessions of workshops and panel discussions, the UN Go round tables will provide a fun experience and a new vision of the role of Taiwan in the field of international relations. Session 1 focuses on Taiwan's experience in international affairs and global charity/development projects. In session 2, experts will talk about cyber war, misinformation, disinformation, and fake news that Taiwan faces.  Participants will also learn about how Taiwan rebrand itself amid global challenges, while create new ways of participating in global affairs. 

Enjoy an exciting Saturday night at the gala, where you can meet the speakers, VIP guests, and new friends from the UN, U.S. and Taiwan!

📖Workshop (a certificate of completion will be offered to participant who attend the full workshop in person)

📌Time: Saturday, 1/28/2023, 9:00 AM to 4:30 PM and Sunday 1/29/2023 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM

📌Location: New York Taiwan Center (137-44 Northern Blvd, Flushing, NY 11354; hybrid format of both in-person and online Webex meeting)

📌Location: Sheraton LaGuardia East Hotel (135-20 39th Ave, Flushing, NY 11354)


👉Fee: $250 (includes workshop materials, 2 lunches, Saturday gala ticket). 

👉A limited number of full scholarships for in-person attending STUF UN Go workshop is available for young Taiwanese American professionals and college students; please click “Yes-apply for full scholarship” when registering. Confirmation of scholarship will be send to your email upon approval by STUF United Fund.
