Simple Machines

We are learning about potential and kinetic energy and we were given the challenge to create a simple machine "toy challenge." We first watched the video about Cain's Arcade. You can see it here. Our objective was to create our own toy that uses the forces of energy and explain how we did it.

What advice do you have for other scientists doing this type of work?

I would suggest that you watch a lot of videos of other people's projects of simple machines. Also, I think it is a good idea to try a few ideas before you start your final idea. Lastly, don't get paint on your mom's dining room table. (Put down newspaper)
