This book is just not good. Author can only think of one word for their sexual parts and uses it no freakin stop, even when it's not exactly necessary! Having the book set in the past isn't all that bad but just in general, it's poorly written and monotonous.

While it was a good story, the editing chopped the book in a couple places. Trying to follow the narrative in English and Scotch language and inflections also detracted from the story.

The second book in this series was as wild and steamy as the first. The characters are real and her plight heart wrenching. This story is placed in the old west, with the vistas and all the problems that those times contained. A virgin's awakening after a shocking betrayal, grabs at the heart as you share her fear, terror, and pleasure. Can't wait to find more by this author who is rapidly becoming a favorite.
