Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My students are hardworking, silly, creative minds who benefit from learning in various ways. The students I work with have a range of writing and attention abilities, so getting them the additional tools to be successful would be a tremendous help to our classroom. They have daily reading, writing and math tasks that require sitting, so the wobbles will help them better maintain the amount of time they can remain seated. The lap desks are going to be a great way to help them write and still learn, if they choose to sit away from their desk.

I want my students to be able to feel successful and accomplish their goals in a way that works for them. Giving them access to flexible seating and/or additional areas to write in, will give them the kind of classroom that shows them that as long are you're learning, that is what's important.
