My Project
My Pre-K class this year is one in a million. 17 kiddos, each with unique personalities and individual needs. That being said, 5 of my students require modifications to my curriculum as well as environmental modifications.
I hope to use the items listed to support my special needs children. I will be able to offer alternative seating at circle, quiet area resources and manipulative, and social emotional support items. Children can use puppets to help identify and label emotions. They can use the weighted stuffed animals to calm their bodies and focus their thinking.
