AUDIENCE:  School teams preferred- suggestion of team members include: counselor, administrator, general education teacher, special education teacher, physical therapists, occupational therapists

SESSION
DESCRIPTION:   Emotional Intelligence is a quality that can benefit all students and staff and is most effective if incorporated throughout the school in a systematic approach using research proven strategies and evidence-based approaches. Identifying and categorizing feelings, gaining tools and strategies to manage feelings, and understanding social situations are life-long strategies needed to meet the demands of the situation around us and be successful socially. This training will give you all the basics needed to meet those goals and to give a common language to understanding and working through different situations.
