Freshmen Return to School
March 25, 2021

Freshman students;

As we begin to make plans for Freshmen to return to school, here is opportunity to make a decision to return or remain in distance learning.    There have been some changes which may impact your decision.   With a start date of April 21st use this survey to indicate your intent to return to in-person instruction or to remain in distance learning.  Students will come to campus following the same block schedule as you do in Distance Learning and attend all classes with your regular teacher.   While you will use a chromebook available on campus to access material through Canvas, for all classes, instruction will be in person, no distance learning will take place for those students who return to campus.   As we get closer to the date of opening, we will make sure you have the most up to date information.

Safety protocols will be in place for students and staff on campus.   Masks must be worn and 3 feet of distance must be maintained, so class sizes will be limited.   Breakfast, snack and lunch will be available as a grab-and-go service.   Because masks must be worn at all times while in class, all meals must be consumed during the time before class or during a 10 minute break between the first and second period of the day.   Lunch will be available after the last class of the day.

We hope to welcome as many freshmen as possible back to campus on April 21st so, please answer the questions below by April 9th.  Please complete a separate form for each freshman student in your household.

Sincerely

Gail Bentley
Principal
