2023-2024 John Creed Award
The John Creed Award was established to provide rising juniors and seniors in the Political Science Department funding to pursue learning opportunities outside the College of Charleston classroom.  Examples of learning opportunities include support for academic workshops, conference presentations, internships, and study abroad.

The John Creed Award will range from $2,500 - $3,000 in an academic year. The award will have three funding cycles with individual awards per funding cycle generally not exceeding $1,500. There are multiple application deadlines for this award; the application deadlines for the fall semester are September 15, 2023 and November 1, 2023, the application deadlines for the spring semester are February 1, 2024 and March 15, 2024, and the application deadline for summer semester is April 30, 2024.
