IA PTSO Executive Board and Advisory Board Interest Form

Please go to our website and review the job descriptions for each of the Executive Board Roles and their Commitee Chairs, who sit on our Advisory Board, in our Plan of Work at https://www.iaptso.org/plan_of_work. All existing volunteers, who are eligible to serve another term, must still complete this interest form and declare their willingness to continue to serve.

For Executive Board Positions Only:

The nominating committee was appointed at our General Membership Meeting on Wednesday, March 1st. All Interest Form Submissions are due by the end of the day Monday, March 27th (with the exception of Junior President, which has been extended to the end of the day, Sunday, April 9th). The Nominating Committee will review all Interest Forms between March 20th and April 16th. Selected candidates will be notified for acceptance/rejection of the position, and the Nominating Committee will then present a slate of accepted candidates to the current IA PTSO Executive Board.

All slated candidates will be posted electronically on our website home page at www.iaptso.org no later than Sunday, April 16th for at least ten days prior to vote by our general membership at our fiscal year Q4 meeting on Wednesday, April 26th at 7 pm on in accordance with the IA PTSO Bylaws at Section 5.2 "Nominating Committee" at https://www.iaptso.org/assets/05545/Documents_for_File_Cabinet/IA_PTSO_Bylaws_Final_Signed_072521.pdf.

Any vacancies in the Executive Board after the April 26th general membership meeting will be appointed by the SY2023/SY2024 Executive Board.

For Advisory Board Positions Only:

This form will remain open for advisory board interest through the Fall of 2023 in order to continue recruit new candidates and welcome rising 9th grade parents to the volunteer pool.

Students Ineligible:

Note, students are not eligilble to serve on the IA PTSO Executive or Advisory Boards and are encouraged to apply for the IA PTSO Student Advisory Committee at the annual club fair.
