IMPORTANT NOTICE: If you are being charged for a Chromebook or a Surf (hotspot) that you are still using, you may take these to the front office to renew them. These fines will NOT count toward you in buying a formal/prom ticket.

1. Go to the Highland Library Webpage
2. Click on
3. In the first drop-down menu, choose Highland 
4. In the top right-hand corner of the screen, click on Login 
5. Your log-in information is the SAME as logging into your Chromebook or Canvas.
6. Once you’re logged in, you should see your name where the Login icon used to be
7. Click on My Account, then choose My Borrowing, then Loan

8.  See what books you currently have checked out:

        To RENEW any of your library books, hover over the picture of the book cover and click on the Renew button that appears. Your new due date will show under your book.

9.   To see what you owe (textbooks from last year or last semester, overdue fees from prior years), click on Fines

10.  See what fines you already owe:

        (Note that some books above are marked “Lost.” There will be NO fine if these are returned. One book here is marked “Overdue.” This must be paid before you graduate. IF the overdue fee is from the 2020-2021 school year, it will be waived.)

Fines may be paid in person at the Finance Office M-F, before school, after school, or during lunch, or online by going to https://kern.graystep.com/. (You must follow the directions to make an account FIRST!)

PLEASE look under your bed, in your car, and in your closet, and try to locate these books! Then turn them in at the HHS Library. Thanks!
