In an increasingly globalized world, studying abroad is now more important than ever. It is one of the best ways to acquire global skills and access personal and professional opportunities. Service learning abroad is a life-changing experience for many students, where you can learn diverse educational structure, experience new places, people, and cultures, make friends from around the world, and gain a global perspective.

Here’s a great opportunity to volunteer, learn, and experience the world culture! AU Outreach Global is offering a Summer Health Clinic in Greece this year, a joint collaboration between AU Outreach Global, AU College of Nursing and the AU Harrison College of Pharmacy.

Participants will have an opportunity to experience hands-on free 3-4 days health clinic with the Doctors of the World, SOS and other humanitarian organizations in Athens, visit orphanages, refugee and immigrant’s sites, and other cultural immersion activities.

Although this experience is focused on the health sciences, it is open to all AU students. The link for program information can be found HERE.
