Overview
Our leaders today face a fast-paced, demanding, and continually changing workplace. Businesses, organizations, and non-profits need leaders who have a vision, the ability to lead as well as the ability to influence others towards a common goal. This two-day course is designed for supervisors and managers to take a step back from their busy schedules and understand that who they are as a leader affects how they lead. The results teams achieve are influenced by how the leader connects with the group and interprets the environment in which they are leading. The Leadership Essentials course has been designed to support and challenge a leader in their ability to manage themselves and the organizations they lead to achieve results.

The Leadership Essentials course is designed primarily for managers, supervisors and group leaders who want to take themselves and their leadership skills to their next level. Leadership Essentials Format
This course is highly interactive. Participants will engage in interactive, action-learning workshop sessions that feature planning exercises, self-assessments, videos, and simulations to gain insights and develop strategies for sharpening leadership skills.
Participants will develop a personal leadership development plan to ensure that they are concentrating on the areas that will give them the most significant return.

Instructor Bio
Sarah Andreas, MBA, PhD, is a highly experienced business expert with over 15 years working in OEM sales, administration, and operations of complex business environments. She is a highly sought-after business expert, facilitator and trainer who understands how to link business theory with real-life practical application and experience. Sarah's instructional style is engaging and interactive, and students enjoy interacting with her.
Sarah brings her long-term experience to all aspects of her instruction. Participants will find her to be passionate, interesting and extremely knowledgeable in all aspects of business, logistics, operations, leadership and training. In addition, Sarah has experience managing existing business units as well as coordinating the launch of new initiatives.
While working in business and as a training consultant, Sarah has developed and taught a wide variety of diverse courses including, in part, servant leadership, team building, quality and process improvement, supervision, executive leadership, strategic planning, project management, and customer service to name just a few.
Sarah was most recently employed by Adventure Harley Davidson and was responsible for all aspects of operations and training for the multi-location dealership. She was also responsible for management training, improving parts and inventory management, and marketing. Prior to working for Adventure Harley Davidson, Sarah was an IT manager as well as a director of computer services.
Sarah currently maintains an active consulting business, WiseWood LLC, that focuses on leadership development. She is the author of "Career Advancement Strategies for Emerging Leaders" and the acclaimed book, "Women Who Ride".
Sarah resides in Strasburg, Ohio. She is a graduate of Malone University where she earned her BS and MBA degrees in Business Administration. Sarah holds a Ph.D. in Organizational Leadership from Johnson University in Knoxville, TN. She also holds various certifications such as Lean Six Sigma Black Belt, Project Management Professional, registered Corporate Coach, Microsoft Certified Professional, and DiSC Facilitator.
