CareerSource South Florida
EconoVue Platform to Support Strategic Business Outreach
CareerSource South Florida is set to launch EconoVue, a new data platform developed to quickly identify at-risk businesses that could benefit from Rapid Response services to avert layoffs, and help growing businesses to build talent. This innovative technology greatly enhances CareerSource South Florida’s ability to access informed data and provide effective, efficient and targeted employer engagement.

Created by Dun and Bradstreet, EconoVue uses data collected from the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics to identify businesses, regardless of size, that may be at risk of closing. This information will be used to connect companies to state Short-Time Compensation or other programs designed to prevent layoffs and other Federal, state and local resources as necessary to address business needs.

The EconoVue system can also be used to identify businesses that are growing and may benefit from On-the-Job Training (OJT), Incumbent Worker Training (IWT) and Youth Services including Paid Work Experience, as well as Pre-Apprenticeship and Apprenticeship programs. Working in collaboration with local chambers and service organizations, outreach personnel will use the EconoVue system to identify emerging trends within industry sectors, identify skills gaps, and deliver training programs based on those trends. EconoVue’s intuitive data visualization platform is the only platform that tracks businesses of all sizes, from sole proprietorships to large, multi-national companies across all sectors.
