2023: Raced five times… Was the Mavs’ second finisher at both the Women’s Collegiate Triathlon National Championships and the West National Qualifier… Earned CTCA All-Region accolades before claiming second team all-America plaudits… Finished ninth amongst Division II triathletes and 55
th overall at the national meet in Tempe, Arizona with a time of 1:09:19… Was the third Division II finisher (33
rd overall) at the regional qualifier in Springfield, Missouri with a time of 1:07:52… Placed tenth overall and second amongst D-II athletes behind only teammate Shannon Feran at the Black Hills Collegiate Cup… Started the year with an eighth place finish at the Denver Aquathlon Eliminator before placing fourth alongside Torin Lackmann and Emma Polenske at the Yellow Jacket Relays... Was a CTCA Triathlon Scholar All-American.
2022-23: Raced in four meets, completing two of them… Earned honorable mention all-American honors with a 17
th place finish at the Women’s Collegiate Triathlon National Championships… Had taken fourth at the West Regional Qualifier to earn all-region honors while helping the Mavs to the team title as the squads’ No. 3 finisher… Was a CTCA/USA Triathlon Scholar All-American.
2021: Competed in four triathlons… Finished a season-best sixth overall and fifth amongst collegiate athletes at the Southern Hills Triathlon… Finished 18
th overall and fourth amongst Division II athletes at the West Regional Qualifier after taking 32
nd overall and 16
th place in Division II at the East Regional qualifier… Finished 22
nd at the national championships... Named as a CTCA Honorable Mention Scholar All-American.
2020-21: Was named as CTCA/USA Triathlon Scholar All-American... Won the April dual at Black Hills State by a minute with a time of 1:14.29... Was second on the team at the Maverick Invitational Cross Country race in October, posting a 5K run time of 21:49.23.
2019: Redshirt season
Prep: Is a 2018 graduate of Mount Aspiring College… Represented New Zealand at the World Triathlon Championships in Gold Coast, Australia that year... Placed second at the 2019 New Zealand Xterra Championships and fifth at the 2018 National Secondary Schools Triathlon.
Personal: Is majoring in criminal justice… Aspires to working with the behavioral analysis unit of the FBI or do something in forensic science … Daughter of Ruthann and Phil Mitchell...Has two siblings, Danielle and Matthew... Enjoys mountain biking, skiing and hanging out with friends.
