Student of Concern CARE or TART Referral

The CARE team, formerly known as BIT, is dedicated to ensuring that USD's students, faculty, and staff members remain safe within our community. CARE serves as an early intervention team that helps identify individuals who may be showing concerning behavior and connects them to the appropriate resources.

If you think that the student or individual of concern is displaying disturbing behavior which could indicate an intention to impose an act of violence on others (or the individual), please indicate that you believe that the Threat Assessment Review Team (TART) should be notified as well.

If this is an emergency, or if you need to be connected to an on-call counselor, please contact UPD at 605-658-6199. Thank you for your commitment to keeping our community safe for all!
