Together We Give To Save Homeless Rescues!

iving Tuesday, an international day of generosity, is November 29, 2022, and Chi-Town Pitties (CTP) is raising money to support our Animal Care Fund which allows us to provide rescues urgent medical care, nutritious food, and a safe place to live until they find their forever family.

Our 2022 goal for Giving Tuesday is $15,000 and we have some awesome news: A generous donor has stepped forward with a $2,500 match! That means every gift up to $2,500 made on November 29 will be DOUBLED, dollar for dollar!

Doug came to CTP earlier this year in what we now know was a hospice situation. When we rescued Doug, CTP had no idea of the scope of his health issues. We just knew he was an older boy whose chances to make it out of a county shelter alive were pretty much non-existent.

CTP spent thousands of dollars on Doug, treating his skin issues, on ultrasounds and GI testing to determine the extent of his internal issues, and more. Through this extensive testing, Doug was diagnosed with five inoperable tumors on his liver and multiple suspicious areas throughout his body.

Sadly, this summer Doug passed away, but his last days were his best days because of donors like YOU. He was pain-free, comfortable, and with his loving foster parents, not all alone in a cold, concrete kennel.

Could we have given up on Doug? Absolutely. But because of you, we will never have to make that choice. Because of you, every "Doug" who needs help will have everything they need to be healthy, cared for, and loved.
