Juan David Morgan Jr. is the partner of Morgan & Morgan responsible for the overall maritime practice of the firm, and heads the Shipping and Admiralty Litigation Department.

Mr. Morgan Jr. has been practicing at Morgan & Morgan since 1990, specializing in maritime claims, including those against the Panama Canal Authority on vessel accidents during transit through the Panama Canal. He represents ship owners, P&I clubs, charterers, hull and cargo underwriters, banks and other shipping interests in all types of maritime disputes.

Professional Memberships

Mr. Morgan Jr. has served as director and financial secretary of the Panama National Bar Association; director and president of the Panama Maritime Law Association; director of the Panama Chamber of Shipping; president of the Panama Maritime VII Conference & Exhibition Organizing Committee; director and president of the German-Panamanian Chamber of Commerce and Industry; and is currently the President of the Tulane Alumni Association in Panama.
