Marin Alsop Conducts Beethoven's 9th Symphony

This June 30th, under the baton of world-renowned conductor Marin Alsop, the National Orchestral Institute + Festival Philharmonic with the Heritage Signature Chorale perform Beethoven’s iconic 9th Symphony, featuring poetry by Poet Laureate Tracy K. Gun Violence Prevention: Quilt Display and Noon Holy Eucharist

In recognition of National Gun Violence Awareness Day, on June 7 all may gather in the Garth prior to the Noon Eucharist for a display of quilts memorializing victims of gun violence. The eucharist will offer special prayers and liturgy, and a message will be offered by DC Chief of Police, Pamela A. Smith. learn more
