  1. Our Church of the Brethren missions are incredible.
My husband’s and my experiences on our mission fields have been amazing. In concert with the churches there, we have been blessed to visit them for worship, and upon occasion, for teaching.
All of the churches have been most welcoming. It is especially intriguing to hear a hymn that is printed in our Brethren hymn book being sung in another language. The people in these countries have, also, been most gracious.
The missions that we visited, to date, were in South India, North India, Japan, Germany, and Rwanda.
We have, also, visited churches in other countries: as we have traveled with our McPherson students to Ethiopia, Israel, Egypt, Rwanda, Spain, Great Britian, Germany, Honduras, and several other locations.
There is nothing like visiting a church on a Sunday morning in another land. Though their hymns to God Almighty are in another language, the people’s welcoming spirits fill one’s heart with joy.
