The graduation ceremony for Woodrow Wilson High School, the Elite Class of 2021, will be held on Friday, June 11, 2021 at 7:00 pm at the Vic Cuccia Stadium. This is a very special day and a successful graduation ceremony requires the cooperative effort from faculty, staff, graduating seniors, family, friends, and guests. It is a privilege for the seniors to participate in the graduation ceremony, but this privilege comes with responsibilities. We wish to share these responsibilities with you to ensure that there are no misunderstandings. Each graduate must wear the district-issued cap and gown over his/her personal attire--personal clothing is prohibited. Defacement and/or alteration of the gown is not allowed.     (Spanish) La ceremonia de graduación de Woodrow Wilson High School, la Clase Intrépida de 2019, se llevará a cabo el viernes 11 de junio de 2021 a las 7:00 pm en el Estadio Vic Cuccia.Este es un día muy especial y una ceremonia de graduación exitosa requiere el esfuerzo cooperativo de la facultad, el personal, los estudiantes de último año que se gradúan, la familia, los amigos y los invitados. Es un privilegio para los seniors participar en la ceremonia de graduación, pero este privilegio viene con responsabilidades. Deseamos compartir estas responsabilidades con usted para asegurarnos de que no haya malentendidos.Cada graduado debe usar la toga y birrete emitidos por el distrito sobre su atuendo personal; la ropa personal está prohibida. The following disruptive items are prohibited at the graduation ceremony (this list applies to both guests and graduates):Balloons, Beach balls, Bubbles, Confetti, E-Cigarettes, Fireworks, Flashlights, Glow-in-the-dark accessories, Ice Chests, Laser Pointers, Lighters, Masks, More than a dozen flowers, Noise-makers, Open Water/Beverage bottles (hydroflasks/thermoflasks), Outside Food/Drink, Posters, Signs, Silly String, Stuffed Animals, Umbrellas       (Spanish) Los siguientes artículos perturbadores están prohibidos en la ceremonia de graduación (esta lista se aplica tanto a invitados como a graduados): globos, pelotas de playa, burbujas, confeti, cigarrillos electrónicos, fuegos artificiales, linternas, accesorios que brillan en la oscuridad, cofres de hielo, Punteros láser, encendedores, máscaras, más de una docena de flores, ruidosos, botellas de agua / bebidas abiertas (hidrofibras / termofrascos), comida / bebida al aire libre, carteles, letreros, cuerdas tontas, peluches, paraguas *
Guests who bring any of the items listed above into the stadium/graduation ceremony will be asked to take such items back to their cars. Any disruptive behavior that may distract or display disrespect during the ceremony will be addressed accordingly. We ask that all guests please adhere to the guidelines shared above. Your signature confirms that you have read the graduation ceremony guidelines and have agreed to abide by such guidelines. Failure to comply will result in being omitted from participation in the graduation ceremony. Parents, your son/daughter, as well as the faculty and staff of Woodrow Wilson High School, have worked extremely hard to reach this special day. Please assist us in making this a safe, enjoyable experience for everyone in attendance. Thank you in advance for your cooperation.                               (Spanish) A los invitados que traigan cualquiera de los artículos enumerados anteriormente al estadio / ceremonia de graduación se les pedirá que los lleven de regreso a sus autos.
