The A’Cappella Kinda Guys is made up of Jim Vanvleet, Chuck O’Donnell, Jeff Welch, and Dennis Tice. The group was formed in California back in 1987 while the members were in the Air Force. “We formed a group just for a talent show,” says Tice. “We won the talent show, went on eventually to the SAC, the Strategic Air Command, and won that and we won the Air Force talent show…we thought it was hilarious,” laughed Tice.

They have known each other for over 35 years and only see each other about once a year for just four or five days at a time. During that time, they perform and write original songs about people in Bedford County and the surrounding areas. They sing covers and originals, harmonizing like old friends and bringing smiles to all who hear them.

Who are Matt Otis and the Sound?

Matt Otis and the Sound are an indie/acoustic group (think Mumford and Sons meet Tom Petty/U2) based out of Pennsylvania. Matt Otis plays both solo/acoustic and with his full band (comprised of Percussion/Drums: Ron Brode, Bass Guitar: Kent Tonkin, Saxophone: Alec Zander Red, Violin: Robin Chambers).

The group performs a wide range of genres while intertwining their folk-rock originals with unique cover renditions.

We are a two-piece acoustic/electric act featuring singer Lauren Johnson & guitarist/singer Joe George. We are based out of Altoona Pa and have been performing in and around Central PA for several years. We play a wide variety of music focusing on pop and country hits including songs that span 8 decades. And with our nearly 200-song request book, you pick what we play!

Lauren has one of the best singing voices in the area, and Joe has over 30 years of experience playing in bands like Felix and the Hurricanes, Flight 19, and Half Tempted.

We are available to play at Taverns, Bars, Clubs, Restaurants, Private Parties, Picnics, Corporate Functions, Sponsored Fund Raisers, Wedding Ceremonies, Cocktail Hours, and more.

Tanjo & Crow is a no-holds-barred exploration of roots music through eclectic songwriting, Appalachian arrangements, and seemingly fearless improvisation. The project draws upon the diverse musical backgrounds of Tanner Bingaman (guitar, banjo, vocals) and Allan Combs II (guitar, vocals). After the release of their labor-of-love series entitled The Elias Center Sessions, Tanjo & Crow were featured on NPR via WITF Studio. The band is looking at an exciting season of theatre shows, festival sets, and listening-room concerts throughout the Mid-Atlantic region and beyond, with a record release planned for 2024. Led by vocalist and bassist Libby Files, Stoney Creek Bluegrass Band pays homage to a simpler time when front porch picking and gospel-tinged harmonies were the heart of rural community gatherings. Their repertoire includes both original compositions and classic bluegrass favorites, delivering a diverse range of songs that evoke the spirit of the Appalachian Mountains.

After reaching No. 1 in 2020 with "A Miner's Life," Stoney Creek Bluegrass Band has continued to score hits on roots music and bluegrass charts with heartfelt songs and blue-collar appeal. Their latest single, a cover of Dillards’ "There is a Time," spent more than a year at No. 1 and was the top RMR bluegrass song of 2023. The song also spent two weeks in Cashbox Magazine’s top ten. Fueled by the success of its singles, the album A Miner’s Life spent a remarkable four weeks at No. 1 on RMR’s album charts. Several earlier releases, penned by guitarist Kenton "Red" Catlett, reached No. 1 on the RMR charts thanks to a resurgence in radio airplay.

Known for their down-home sound and instrumental prowess honed through two decades of entertaining audiences, Stoney Creek Bluegrass Band is firmly planting its roots in the rich soil of traditional mountain bluegrass.

Libby Files (bass and vocals) - Libby is the founder of Stoney Creek. "Libby is among the rising number of female vocalists who are making a big impact on bluegrass music," said Frank Jurney, founder of Virginia's Berryville Bluegrass Series. Libby is based in West Virginia.

Brett Smeltzer (mandolin and vocals) - Brett's mandolin and vocal skills have been a major part of Stoney Creek's neotraditional sound. Brett previously played with "Maryland's Five String King" Jack Sanbower and the No Leeway Band. Brett is also a broadcaster on the award-winning radio station The Bluegrass Jamboree. Brett is based in West Virginia.

Kenton "Red" Catlett (guitar and vocals) - Kenton's songwriting, vocal, and guitar skills have propelled his original songs, including "Fast Train," "Thirty Years" and "The Traveling Song," to the top spots on bluegrass radio charts. Catlett performed and recorded with Libby's sister, the late Deanna Stottlemyer, arranging many of the songs that would later appear on Stoney Creek's Memories & Tears album. Kenton is based in West Virginia.

Rylan Rissler (banjo and vocals) - Rylan joined Stoney Creek in 2024, at the age of 17. Rylan has been playing the banjo since 2020. Bluegrass Today wrote that Stoney Creek is Rylan's "first professional engagement with a band." Rylan is based in Pennsylvania.
