AlignMNH organizes opportunities to convene the global maternal and newborn health (MNH) community and key partners to recognize country progress toward MNH metrics, creative innovative ways to track progress, share evidence and discuss effective implementation strategies, and fuel global and national action.
From May 8-11, 2023, nearly 1,800 stakeholders from over 95 countries came together in Cape Town, South Africa to accelerate solutions to improve maternal newborn health (MNH) and prevent stillbirths.
This three-day virtual convening included pre-recorded content, live moderated discussions, and regional dialogues, from experts from around the world as they engaged in conversations around three thematic areas: tracking progress, respectful care, and quality of care.
The Opening Forum marked an important moment for the maternal and newborn health communities to set the stage for the road ahead. This solutions-focused two-day virtual forum focused on elevating solutions for strengthening MNH programming.
