2021 Music Honors Weekend Audition Form

This year’s Music Honors Weekend will be held January 29-31, 2021, and will consist primarily of an Honor Band, Honor Choir, and Honor String Orchestra. Participants will be selected by audition and the event is open to current high school juniors and seniors.
 
The audition includes:
Juniors

• Application form
• Letter of recommendation from your primary music teacher
• Two audition recordings, which should consist of:
  • Choir: Audio or video of two contrasting selections, ideally in different languages, 3-5 minutes total
  • Band: Audio or video of two short contrasting selections, no more than 3 minutes total
  • String Orchestra: Audio or video of two short contrasting selections, no more than 3 minutes total

Seniors

• All of the above, plus a high school transcript, school profile of your high school, and if available, SAT or ACT test scores

You will be notified as to whether or not you have been accepted to participate in MHW 2021 by Monday, November 23, 2020.
