Can a scalable mini-micro version of this be developed for residential? Start with one panel, one battery cell- then homeowner can start the process of cutting the cord - system can be scaled up to four panels, two battery cells, and so on. Entry cost low, then evolve to complete system with conventional energy as a backup.

Gavin Rennick from SLB and David Burns from Linde shared with the room their insights on critical topics like #technology integration, #CCUS as well as #greenhydrogen. 🔋Of course, #energytransition needs more than technology. This is what we in Wärtsilä Energy Next Business Lab have learned: 1️⃣ Before you start to scout you need to define your proposition, this will provide focus and help in establish creditability. 2️⃣ Leverage the network inside your corporation and with stakeholders, use platforms and databases to find companies that match. 3️⃣ Next step is to prioritise the companies based on criteria’s e.g., technological readiness, scalability and use case. 4️⃣ After this we engage and establish relationship with the most potential companies and build on more understanding of the offering, technology business and team. 5️⃣ Finally, we validate, test, and pilot the technologies with the ambition is to establish long-term partnerships. 200+ ventures in our pipeline, 3 major scouting and exploration research project completed (numerous small projects) and collaboration signed with 2 ventures.
