Chromebook & Remote Learning REMINDERS
- It is so important that students take very good care of their Chromebooks. Please avoid dropping the device, closing it with pencils inside, cracking the case and screen, spilling food and liquids on the screen and keyboard, and other actions that can damage the device.
- Please help your student remember to charge the Chromebook each and every night.
- Do not log off or turn the Chromebook off when you are done using it. Just close the lid. Our younger students have trouble logging into the Chromebooks on their own, and this is very time consuming for teachers to do every morning for an entire class.
- Communicate, communicate, communicate. Teachers will communicate daily class schedules and plans for remote learning days with students and parents via email, Remind, Canvas, and SeeSaw. If students are having issues connecting to class, understanding what to do, or have questions, please communicate with the teacher.
- Friendly reminder - When your child is online, his/her classmates and teachers can see and hear everything that is going on in view of the camera on the device. Please be aware of what others can see and hear in view of your child's Chromebook camera.
