Zilker Properties

We thoroughly enjoyed our two week stay in the Heart House in November '23. It was perfect for just my husband and I while we visited our daughters who live in Austin. We walked through Zilker park several mornings. We walked Lady Bird Trail and walked downtown (although that is a bit further). Even had a view of Christmas tree lights in Zilker (from the Trail of Lights) from the balcony. We will stay here again.

Had a wonderful time staying at the treehouse, during the summer! We stayed for a month and loved the ease of walking to Barton springs and zilker park. We went almost every day!! The place comes with everything you would need from face wipes to towels to an umbrella.

Overall, a great stay with a huge master bed and nice kitchen to cook in. And the location can't be beat especially being within walking distance to events like blues on the green. Already miss it!

Cynthia and Peach were excellent at getting us anything we needed. Responses were immediate!
The condo had everything you can think of: mayo, mustard, ketchup, sandwich bags, Q-tips, sunscreen, coffee beans, can huggies, etc!
Clean! Great patio with party lights.
Wonderful location, one block from Zilker! Less than 1.5 miles to the pedestrian bridge to downtown.
Dog friendly!
We had a WONDERFUL trip! Would love to go back.

Every Zilker unit is beautifully equipped, ready for guests to visit in comfort. We have stayed in Park Place, Heart House (three months straight), ATX, Treehouse, The Sweet, and the Studio. Visitors to Austin staying at Zilker Vacations are close to awesome walking paths, Barton Springs Pool, all of the restaurants and music venues on Barton Springs Rd., Zilker Park (ACL, the Kite Festival, and the Holiday Tree Festival). A reasonable walk gets you across Town Lake to the original Whole Foods, the Capitol, and a bit further, UT.
This is a perfect home away from home for your Austin visit. The owners are low key, friendly, and responsive should anything be needed.

I stayed at the one bedroom unit, The Sweet for two months. Cynthia considers every little detail in furnishings and accoutrements plus there is a fantastic laundry facility on the premises. I found the unit spotlessly clean. The property is situated in one of the primo areas of Austin in a quiet neighborhood but central to just about everything good Austin has to offer. The unit is small (and cozy) but perfectly adequate for one or two persons. Everything you need to make yourself at home is provided. My only complaint is if there is a tenant staying in the unit above The Sweet, you will be disturbed by walking, etc. above you. Highly recommend.

We stayed in the Treehouse for 5 days while visiting family in Austin last week.
SO fantastic....every detail was tended to, from fresh coffee beans, filtered water, SOFT sheets, nightlight, make up remover pads, make up mirror, coat hooks, ease of in and out, washer/dryer, lotions, great instruction for t.v. use and all the great tips for getting the most out of Austin. Loved the location and nice neighbors. Will be coming back next winter from cold Michigan!

I can't say enough wonderful things about this place and the area it is in. We love the tree lined street, the fact that we are a short walk from Barton Springs Pool, and several restaurants, shopping, etc.

Jay and Cynthia went out of their way with extra touches. They provided a binder full of info about the area (and even included coupons), there were coffee beans and a grinder (best coffee ever), games, dvds, fresh water in the fridge...you name it.

The Kaleido house is so colorful you can't help but to be happy here. We extended our stay because we loved it so much.

This is my new favorite little weekend getaway spot. We will be back next summer! I hesitate to say too much because I am afraid if the word gets out much more that I won't be able to find availability next time. :)

Just returned after a 3 night stay at the 2 bedroom "Tree House" near Zilker Park. The unit was as described, clean and well stocked. The location cannot be beat for its proximity to Zilker Park and the walking/jogging trails which was important to us. The booking, arriving and departure processes were easy. I also appreciated the timely replies to the questions I had before arrival.

I have stayed at almost all the Zilker properties (ATX, Heart, Park, Kaleidoscope)...all have been top notch! My latest stay was at Kaleido House for the Christmas holidays. I have friends in Austin but its nice to have my own place. Everything you need is always there (pots/pans, shampoo, towels, etc.) Having access to a washer/dryer is also a huge plus. Zilker Park, Lady Bird Trail and Barton Springs is a short walk away, great for long dog walks. Close to great food and shops and downtown is about 10 mins away. Zilker Vacations is my go-to Austin place to stay - no more hotels for me. Thanks for all the great memories!

Stayed with Zilker Vacations a week at ATX house. This rental has all the comforts of home in a great location. Easy to pop onto the city trails and close to Barton Springs. Can't thank you enough for keeping a top notch property all in good repair and providing us a wonderful pet friendly place. Very welcoming and very responsive. We will stay here again for sure!
