Best bento in town for a very reasonable price . Owner is a sushi master chef and he greets patrons with smile . Must try.

Sep 15, 2022Previous reviewBest chicken Katsu bento in town. Wife's favorite. Happy wife happy life. Chicken was moist yet crunchy with right amount of salt. Must try.

My friends and I tried Sushi Spot within the Asian Mart, due to highly positive reviews. Sadly, my experience left much to be desired.
Food:
- Crunch Roll (5/10):
Despite high hopes, the Crunch Roll fell short of expectations. Its taste was forgettable, lacking any distinctive flavors. Moreover, the disappointment of having to pay extra for basic condiments like wasabi and spicy mayo further dampened the experience.
Regrettably, Sushi Spot failed to leave a lasting impression. I am unlikely to revisit this establishment anytime soon.
In conclusion, while Sushi Spot may be convenient for those already perusing the Asian Mart, discerning sushi enthusiasts may find more satisfying options elsewhere in the culinary landscape of DFW.

Sushi spot is our absolute favorite sushi spot.
The rolls have made a comeback in size and taste!Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 2Oh no 0Jan 13, 2023Previous review1/13 As much as my family and I love SS, I'm sadly disappointed on the repetitive ongoing issue of items being unavailable. Once due to them being out of shrimp tempura, another time they were out of soup, and today they were out of rice.
Nov 21, 2022Previous reviewHonestly one of the best sushi spots in north Dallas.
Located in a food hall, this little sushi stand is amazing. The rolls are priced well between $7-$15, they are larger than most sushi rolls and they are delicious! Service is always great as well. We enjoyed the Rainbow roll, crunchy roll and jalapeño bomb roll (unsure of the name) and all are amazing. They close at 8:30, stop by before 7:30 to ensure they didn't run out of certain ingredients. - Apr 17, 2023
Located within the food court to the right of Jusgo Asian grocery store.
How this is 5 stars I will never understand.
The sushi pieces are huge! Bigger does not mean better. ;/-
No ponzu sauce. Best to bring your own! They have soy sauce, but that's too salty personally. No sauce for me today and that's ok.
I don't like crab filler period. I thought I checked all the boxes before ordering. I apparently didn't and the Hot Night Roll has a lot of fake crab in it. Ugh.
I was able to avoid cream cheese filling too! Phew!
The spicy salmon roll was good. What I expected. They use a nice chili pepper to season the salmon. PLUS!
If you want water, you have to pay for it. It's a bottled, Ozarka,16oz. Or you can walk 2 ft and order a boba tea!!!
This is a food court, and there are multiple tables to choose from. They do have a person that buses all the tables.
I'd go back, but I'll pay better attention to the menu when ordering!
They don't have a lot of rolls to choose from on the dine in menu. The ingredients are not listed, you have to ask what each roll contains. However, one of the chefs did say he could make anything if I asked! I like that!

I'm typically not a fan of food court type restaurants, unless it's just to get a snack while I'm shopping. Sushi spot is located in a small food court next to an Asian grocery store, but it is one of the best sushi places I've had, especially considering the cost of their rules.
I suppose the days of $7.99 sushi rolls are gone, that sushi spot does have a roll at $7.99. I had the night passion roll, which was so delicious! I also had their chicken katsu bento box which was fantastic, actually a decent amount of chicken in it.
The ambiance sucks because it's a food court, but this sushi place is amazing!Helpful 8Thanks 1Love this 7Oh no 0 - Ike K.New York, NY4322Apr 7, 2024
We ordered a chasu don and salmon sashimi that came out to $26 before tax and we were shocked by the portions -it was like two appetizers. I think the sushi might be better, but probably will never order here again.

Five Star Average with 245 reviews! That's a place I want to look into. I was cautiously hopeful.but that's a strong rating.
Bottom line we all enjoyed the sushi spread. I'm never too strict on judging delivered food. My experience is that it's not equal to a sit down at the restaurant.
This order was delivered accurately and tasted great. However,3 stars is about as high as I can give.
Don't let that stop you. Local and convenient.Helpful 67Thanks 0Love this 58Oh no 2 - Marie D.McKinney, TX04Feb 29, 2024
Pink Lady is really good! It's an Asian food court, so not a romantic ambiance, but the people are great.

Still some dang good sushi in the center of an unassuming food court! Get yourself over to Sushi Spot! They have a range of menu items from sushi to udon noodles, and bento boxes. Our absolute favorite roll was the crunchy crab but truly every roll here is a hit.

This is damn good sushi right here!! Shoutout to the kind customer service and sushi served fresh! Was so excited to support this Asian-owned biz.

The rolls are massive! We ordered three rolls and it was plenty of food. Such delicious sushi without any pretentious atmosphere. Just good food in a food court.
Pro tip: order the miso soup for an appetizer. Delicious! - David C.Frisco, TX08Mar 27, 2024
