Can I bring my newborn?
A:
You can, but the inside can get a bit crowded and I'm not sure how nice a carrier will fit in some places.

I went on a rainy day to catch up with a friend. Seated in a corner near the window, the tea was DELICIOUS! I have to say that because I was expecting regular tea to take off the chill but it was so good I was distracted.
The food was great! The ambiance is cute and trendy. It's a place that is perfect to go to all the time if you live nearby.
Check it out and you'll see that it's an "all the time" kinda place.Helpful 1Thanks 1Love this 2Oh no 0 - Nicole D.Culver City, CA56342Apr 10, 2024
I have dreams about their Thai style chicken and waffles. IT HAUNTS ME!!!
The other things I've tried are also excellent but seriously get the chicken and waffles.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - L S.Los Angeles, CA0133Apr 7, 2024

This is probably my favorite brunch spot that I've tried so far! For brunch in LA, the flavors for the price can't be beat.
I love the variety of offerings on the menu and I was happy to go with a group of friends in my last outing so I could try more of the menu. We all basically licked our plates clean!
The Chicken and Waffles were very well balanced with juicy fried chicken and crispy waffles. I love the little touches they include in this place that make it extra special like the fried basil on top.
The breakfast burrito has everything you need in a breakfast and made complete with the sour cream and salsa.
The cauliflower tempura was super light and crispy. This was also a lot better with the dipping sauce.
I didn't try the Khai Jiao but my friend really enjoyed the flavors and found it very satisfying for breakfast.
The French toast is as beautiful as it is delicious with a generous heap of fruit on top.
There's only street parking available which can be a little difficult in the Miracle Mile area but it was great taking a little walk after the meal to digest as well.Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 2Oh no 0 - Apr 15, 2024
We were driving into town, and I had this place book marked for a while and decided to give it a try. We came on a Wednesday, and it was busy! I reserved a spot in line when we were close by. When we got there, we waited for about 5 to 10minutes, not too long. When we were seated, I realized, it is a little tight. But the decor was very cute. Our waitress was so sweet and nice. The service was definitely a 10/10! Drinks wise, we ordered a matcha latte, Vanilla Latte, and the matcha latte was perfect and creamy. Food wise, we ordered the French toast, side of scrambled eggs with cheese, I think it's called the chicken pesto sandwich and kha jiao? I don't remember the names, but everything was so good! We literally finished everything. I will definitely come back and try other items from the menu.

The parking was street parking in the neighborhood or metered. I didn't have trouble finding a free 2-hr parking for a lunch.
I went to check in at 12:20p for 7 people. And by 1:10p, we were second on the list. The total wait was an hour.
The restaurant is very small and noisy.
The food is delicious. The chicken and waffle has crispy thai basil chicken. The waffle was normal waffle you can make at home. The crispy french toast was very good. Overall, we had a delicious meal. The lavender latte has adequate lavender taste.
I would say the only con is the price of around $20 for each dish. But I guess that is just how LA works. They also don't take reservations, just walk-in with a waitlist on weekend. I wish there is an online wait-list so we don't have to wait in a windy and rainy LA day. The weather was horrible on Feb 4.Helpful 1Thanks 1Love this 2Oh no 0 - Apr 2, 2024
I've known about this brunch spot for so long and finally got to try it on a Friday. The wait wasn't too long for my party of 5, but it is a really small space so I can imagine it gets pretty busy on weekends.
Everything on the menu sounded so delicious. It took some coordinating within my group to make sure we can try a little bit of everything. I got started with a mocha latte and it was delicious! Creamy, right amount of sweetness, and strong mocha flavor. I got the chicken and waffle and it was one of the most flavorful chicken and waffle dishes I've ever eaten. That tom yum seasoning with fried basil brought it to another level. The chicken was juicy and crispy and the waffle was perfectly soft on the inside and crispy on the outside. It came with your standard butter and maple syrup, but the winning bite comes with the sweet chili sauce. The steak and waffle was delicious too. Nice big portion and the steak was juicy, tender, and seasoned well. The Thai style omelette was a standout! It looked pretty simple, but was so flavorful and unique in its offering. The oreo waffle was the grand finisher. Each bite was sweet, soft, and decadent. Everything you'd want in a dessert waffle.
We thoroughly enjoyed our meals here and was easily one of our favorites. Cost was your typical LA pricing as was the parking situation with it being street only. Highly recommend for a memorable and flavorful brunch outing.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Rima G.Duarte, CA13045Apr 20, 2024
Came here for brunch today with a friend. We arrived around 12:45 on a Saturday so naturally there was a wait. Once we were seated, we were given waters pretty quickly. We ordered the cotton candy mimosas to drink. I got the "You Make Me Wake Up Happy" waffles while my friend ordered the waffles egg Benedict. We both enjoyed our dishes. The cafe itself is on the smaller side but the ambiance is nice. The service was super quick and the servers were all kind. I'd recommend this place!

Great service from our server Jacob, speedy delivery, very good food, especially the Crispy French toast if you're in the mood for something sweet. We got the Breakfast burrito and Chorizo toast as our savory dishes. This place is a solid brunch spot. We did sit outside which isn't the best ambiance right next to busy La Brea.
