A heartfelt thank you to Zaza Hotel for an incredible New Year's Eve celebration! The ambiance, attention to detail, party favors for us and overall experience were outstanding. Special gratitude to Manager Eli for her exceptional leadership and personal touch throughout the evening. Her dedication to ensuring me and my guest felt valued and cared for truly made the night unforgettable. I loved the DJ! The music selection was spot-on, blending various genres to keep the energy high and the dance floor packed. Played so many great hits. We stayed on the dance floor. All the guests were so nice too, everyone there was having fun!
Every Zaza employee was so nice!
Our package included NY day Brunch. It was AMAZING! When we walked out of the elevator our mouths dropped. Live music and the spread was heavenly, featuring a variety of mouthwatering dishes. It was definitely unexpected. Included mimosas, bloody mary's etc.
Zaza Hotel, under Manager Eli's guidance, sets a benchmark for hospitality that goes above and beyond. Thank you for a magical night that will be treasured.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - May 30, 2023
Gorgeous hotel at a relatively affordable price. After staying in a utilitarian cheap hotel for business over a few nights, we went for this sweet place as a little treat.
Beautiful art work everywhere. Higher end linens and bath products. Nice staff. Large room.
The pool was small but adequate. Nicely decorated. Cabanas and lounge chairs plus bistro tables.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Micheal W.Houston, TX643043020Jun 15, 2023
With work being so busy I decided to have a staycation here in my city, so I booked a stay at the Hotel Zara!
I can say it in 4 words! THIS HOTEL IS AMAZING!
The valet guys assisted me with my bags both times and they were extremely courteous! ($40) parking.
The building was very clean upon entering the lobby!
Once we checked in and grabbed the keycards , we went up to the 8th floor where our room was located and it was clean as well.
I did my "hotel check" upon entering:). The shower, toilet, sink, bed,etc were very clean and passed my inspection.
There was a great view and many places to eat from in the area.
(They offer a free shuttle to and from the hotel if it's with in a 3 mile radius.)
We brought our own wine and snacks to the hotel. The beverages and snacks in the hotel were very pricey!
We had the delicious lime-marinated fajita meal from Guadalajara Hacienda, which is about 20 yards from the hotel.
The next morning we ordered breakfast in bed from the hotel!
OMG Their Chicken & Waffles were the best ever or I was just super hungry !
The buttermilk chicken breast was amazing!
When I want chicken and waffles again, I definitely will come here even in I'm not staying the night.
Parking is free if you are coming to the restaurant at the hotel to eat.Helpful 8Thanks 2Love this 5Oh no 0 - Jan 17, 2023
We did a New Years celebration package at ZaZa Memorial City, and it was great.
Maybe the only reason it's not 5 stars is because the Museum District Hotel ZaZa is our first love, and that is our 5 star choice. With that said, the New Years party was a class act, with an open bar, free flowing appetizers, and fun music.
The hotel staff is first rate, and the room was beautiful, and I hope to come back soon.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Mas A.Houston, TX02Jan 1, 2024
I took my mom and my friend to the New Year's event and boy, what a mistake! They did not have enough sitting for all those ppl. that booked the place! they were under staff at the bar. I felt bad for the bartenders trying their best to get the drinks out as fast as they could. They had outside sitting with no heaters and most ladies were freezing with what they had on. The hors d'oeuvres was horrible, and cold. I took a small bite of the so called chicken to taste and that sent me to the bathroom in the middle of the night!
Save your money and go somewhere else!Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Curtis B.Houston, TX160Feb 12, 2024
Made reservations for our 51st Anniversary. Specifically booked their $465 "king room upgrade "SPA package with $60 extra charge to check in 2pm instead of 4 pm. We arrived at 2, only to discover no early check in at any price, "Spa" package, it turns out was $200 in addition to the room charge.
I don't mind paying for services I buy with full knowledge of what I'm buying. This hotel is trying to be a 5 star operation with 1 star service and misleading pricing.
The manager at checkout, Alexis, adjusted our bill, which was kind of her, but the trauma and aggravation was needless and ruined our special outing.
When looking for a special place for a future event, I'll stay with our proven standard...the St Regis...they understand straightforward pricing but even more...customer service.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Sep 16, 2022
I'm a frequent travel to the Houston area with multiple chains and properties experienced throughout the city. Hotel ZaZa will be my go to from here on out!!!! There's really not enough positive commentary I can provide to fully express the caliber of Hotel ZaZa Memorial City.
The ZaZa checks all the necessary boxes including safety, staff, cleanliness, and location. My experiences at the ZaZa have been above and beyond what one normally encounters as a frequent traveler.
Rest assured your in good hands at Hotel ZaZa Memorial City!Helpful 0Thanks 1Love this 0Oh no 0 - Monique B.The Woodlands, TX4398182Jan 1, 2024
Chose to ring in the new year at this hotel, and it exceeded expectations! Despite a bustling bar, they managed the crowd seamlessly. The drinks were excellent, and the hotel amenities were impressive. The staff was friendly and exceptionally helpful. Considering making this an annual celebration spot!

Okay. So, the 3 stars for the price point versus service.
Upon arrival, it appeared there was just 1 valet for everyone checking in and also heading out for evening plans. I waited in the car while my husband checked in. They really need help in this area.
Our room was very nice, clean and the AC worked well. I would say that for this price point, I was disappointed to see a grey plastic shower head. Like you have marble floors, shower tiles, and a counter, but a plastic shower head is what was decided on? The TV remote was partially broken, and the TV service is outdated. Why have a guide that can't tell you what is on?
The Tipping Point has a nice ambiance and good drinks. However, every mixed drink is $20 bucks. Even the standard wines start at $16 a glass. The breakfast omelet served via room service was very bland and no butter for the toast.
Now, here is the real nitpicking... I had a hard time finding WATER. Our turn down service on one of the 2 nights provided a pint-sized bottle of water. There was no bottled water in the beverage center either, so I couldn't even pay for water in the room. It also seemed they forgot two people often stay for anniversary getaways. 1 set of slippers. 1 water one night. 1 mini moon pie. Seriously?
We ordered an overpriced bottle of bubbly via room service and requested WATER as well. There was no water delivered, and considering the service charge, I was disappointed. There is a coffee/tea bar on each floor, which is nice but also forces you to get dressed or throw a robe on and make coffee and bring it back to your room.
An attendant pushing a beverage/snack cart knocks each morning for you to purchase snacks/alcohol and the like. By the time I realized they had water for purchase, we were checking out. Also, the tap water was awful. Otherwise, I would have just drank that.
Overall this is a good choice for a quick getaway. ZaZa just needs to figure out which star hotel it wants to be.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Ryan P.Lakewood Hills, Tomball, TX0144Dec 21, 2023
