Does this business know that their website number does not work? I'm currently parked in front wanting to order but can't because I can't reach them lol. So I give up. I'm not walking inside due to covid.

Why 5 stars? Because I'm easy to please with poke and was once again pleased.

On my way from the northside to the southside, I had an errand to run in the Heights and figured it was a good opportunity to swing by Diced Poke and check another long-time bookmark off my list. I ordered a couple of bowls to-go: one for myself and one for my mom, who shares my love of seared tuna.
The bowl itself was great. I appreciated the truffle sauce, but didn't really taste truffle in it. I still enjoyed it though. As I mowed through it, I honestly really dug every bite - every ingredient hit the spot.
I also ordered a spam musubi, which was awesome. I have never stopped loving those since my first visit to Hawaii. And most importantly, I appreciated the patience of the girl who took my order, as I stumbled between texts and a phone call to make sure I got my mom what she wanted. Thank you person whose name I did not get!Helpful 8Thanks 0Love this 8Oh no 0 - 711925Oct 21, 2022
My boyfriend brought me here because he had it recently and loved it. I got a regular truffle tuna bowl with white rice. It was absolutely amazing, I think this is the best quality fish I've come across at a poke place in Texas. I will say that I wish I asked for light sauce because mine was a bit overpowering as I got through the bowl, but nonetheless still amazing.
The staff was incredibly friendly and responsive which I appreciate a lot. There were quite a few people eating in which goes to show how popular it is. I'd definitely come again.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Sep 18, 2022
Got the build your own sushi burrito. Got spicy tuna and pepper tuna. We got all the toppings except pineapple and this was good!
We got the spicy salmon bowl and with everything and volcano rice. The volcano rice was dry and hard, and the fish was not as seasoned.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Nov 9, 2021
I'm always on the hunt for yummy poke spots and I'm so glad my friend brought me here to try it out! I love how there are so many protein options and topping selections and I was able to customize it exactly to how I wanted it to be. I was also especially excited about adding hot cheetos and rice puffs, and radish sprouts because not every poke place usually has them which is another thing unique about them.
Everything was so yummy and I would come back if only it wasn't so far from me but definitely a solid poke spot with unique toppings! It was also a little bit pricy and close to $13 for a bowl when usually other places charge wayy less for the same amount of food. Parking was also quite difficult and we had to street park and walk here.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 3Oh no 0 - May 11, 2021
Food: 9/10
Service: 10/10
Cleanliness: 10/10
This is my go-to poke restaurants in Downtown,Houston. I'm always surprised how empty it is during lunchtime because the food is so good! The fish is always fresh, they don't skimp on the scoops of fish, and its always very flavorful! I tried the Atlantic Pokkirito and its now a favorite! The staff is always so nice and answers any questions regarding the ingredients. The bathrooms and tables were also very clean as well as the preparation area they serve the food in.
Worth the price? YesHelpful 1Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - 781951103Jun 27, 2021
Price: $15 bowl and drink. Guess you get what you pay for? Use yelp check in for free drink
Food: ordered Truffle tuna (they let you mix proteins i mixed regular tuna and pepper seared tuna). Kind of bland but Fresh ingredients. Favorite part was imported sodas. I tried coconut and pineapple and both were great.
Service: there's like one or two guys working. One who made my order was very friendly and happy to give recomendations on what to order.
ambiance: Great seating and plenty of it. Not busy at all people come and go quickly. Mask needed to enter.
Overall it's a good place for a quick meal if you are craving it but not for foodies as flavors leave something to be desired.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Alicia T.Missouri City, TX39940113Sep 13, 2022
My all-time favorite poke place. Of all the hundreds of poke stores in Houston, NOTHING beats Diced. Their freshness in quality and quantity never fails to disappoint me. I have gone here plenty of times with my friends, family, or just simply by myself. Getting a regular bowl here will fill me up and more.
Quality/Quantity - 5/5
Till this day, I have never received anything un-fresh or fishy food from Diced. Their quality is always top notch and has you begging for more. The amount of proteins they give you is on par with the size bowl that you get. Adding on, I believe Diced is the only poke store that provides pepper tuna as a protein.
Service - 5/5
I have always gotten positive feedback from the workers, and never once had an argument or felt bad for speaking with them. Whenever I asked for more toppings, they would be more than happy to provide so. Overall just content with this place that always has me coming back for more.
The only thing that sucks about coming to this area is the parking. Generally I'd have to park in the public parking garage which has a fee (I don't remember how much it is) but if you're there for more than 10 minutes then you'd be charge some $$, which is why I prefer getting my poke bowl to go rather than dine in.
PSA: If you check in on yelp, you get a free drink!Helpful 9Thanks 0Love this 12Oh no 0 - Feb 15, 2022
A decent poke spot that a friend and I stumbled upon on a Tuesday evening. What i enjoyed about this spot was the menu options. Pretty expansive list of fish and scoop combos. I got the blackened tuna with yellowtail which I was so happy about because they are so different in taste I was able to distinguish compared to just letting all the taste just mesh in my mouth. The prices were typical, not super expensive definitely not cheap but what is expected at a poke place.

Still 5 stars, but I'm giving an update since my subsequent visits to one of the best poke spots in H-town!
I've tried several of their options over the past couple years and have consistently enjoyed the unique flavors, delicious sauces and fresh fish. Most recently I opted for the Truffle Tuna bowl for takeout during COVID. It's hard to find the words to describe the creaminess of the shoyu and truffle soy in a way that does them justice. Suffice it to say, I thoroughly enjoyed the meal and have found a new go-to order.
Their prices have gone up a bit over the past year, but the flavors more than make up for it. I will say that the size of the bowls is somewhat lacking compared to a few other Houston poke spots like Local and Ono. Regardless, check this place out! You won't regret it.Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 3Oh no 0Aug 27, 2018Previous reviewAfter trying Ono and Seaside Poke, I thought I'd had the best poke Houston had to offer. What more could possibly be done to improve an already delicious product?
Apparently, I'd just never tried Diced before. With special twists like bamboo and volcano rice, they offer exciting flavors for their bowls that I've never seen anywhere else. I tried the Honey Soy Tuna bowl, while my friend tried the Truffle Tuna with yellowtail instead of tuna. Their specially crafted bowls offer delightful kicks you won't experience at any other poke place in Houston (and there are a lot of poke places in Houston).
I also love the presentation of their bowls and the variety of toppings they offer. You can add a lot of premium toppings for free that normally cost extra at other poke places. And the service is great! Our server was really helpful with choosing extra toppings.
There's a mochi ice cream station right by the cash register if you'd like a little dessert after your bowl. I'll definitely be trying it at my next visit (which will be very soon). Till next time, Diced! - Mar 26, 2021
Diced Poke was an excellent choice for a quick lunch.
If you're looking for high quality poke, you'll find it here.
Immediately, Diced Poke stood out apart from all the other poke shops I've been to across the state of TX (Dallas, Austin, San Antonio, Houston). They don't skimp out on the toppings, and you're allowed 3 scoops of protein for their regular sized bowl for an affordable $12-13 (if you build your own bowl). They also offer signature reciped bowl selections and poke burritos.
They have impressed me with the variety of ingredients they offer. They have a bamboo rice (soaked in bamboo juice infused with matcha) and volcano rice (which is brown rice mixed with red rice). Their ingredients are incredibly fresh, which is critical for a delicious bowl of poke.
This place is my top choice for poke in Houston. Highly recommend. I'm already planning my next trip back!Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0
