I loved the vibe of this place! It felt very clean and fresh from the moment you walk in. The bathrooms are nice, but very dim lol ordering was fast and food took about 7 minutes to come out.
BEEF PITA: My bf got this and enjoyed it. The flavor was good, the meat was moist, and he said he would come back again for it.
CHICKEN PITA: I got this without the roasted potatoes. Idk if all of the sauce comes with the potatoes, but the chicken was dry and it felt like there was no sauce at all. Pretty rough to get through the whole thing because of this. I didn't realize I could buy extra sauce until I was done, but it shouldn't have been as dry as it was when it's probably the most popular item on the menu. I was pretty disappointed, but now that I know I can get extra sauce if this happens again, I'd be willing to give it another shot if this was a fluke.
HALF ZATAAR & HALF CHEESE FLATBREAD: This felt like a soft crust, half herb, half cheese pizza. Not really for me, but my bf loved it.
My personal experience fell flat, but my bf had a great experience. I'll chalk up my experience to an off day because I really want to like this place. Hopefully the next visit goes better.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0Business owner information

Hey Kelly,
Thanks for the feedback! Your sandwich definitely should not have been dry. Next time you can ask for extra sauce inside your sandwich or on the side whichever you would prefer. The garlic aioli in our chicken pita is definitely what makes the sandwich so I understand why you would be disappointed. Please let us know next time you dine with us and we will make sure your sandwich is perfect!

If you want to opt for something not too heavy on the stomach but packed with flavor, this is your place. The food here is very fresh & yummy. My go to dish is the hummus bowl. You can add a protein to with it: beef, chicken, lentils or falafel. I usually opt for no additions because the bowl is plenty to get you through the day or night. The bowl comes with a generous portion of hummus topped with roasted pine nuts along with pickled radishes, tabouli & red cabbage. Served with pita bread. If I'm feeling extra hungry I will add the falafel which is fried to perfection!
The place is very modern & clean with family style seating & 2 to 4 tops. Staff is super friendly & the service is fast. Great place for great food & fast service if you are in a rush.Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 2Oh no 0Business owner information

"Its too good
Very fresh
Sweetness right on spot"
Its Houston Restaurant Week and we chose Craft Pita as our destination. It was well worth it. Its a complete 5 course meal including drink. For vegetarians like me, a couple items felt like repetition, like the pita was with the starter but also the main course, you could have substituted ut fir pita chips but that does not make much difference. What reaaallyy hit the spot was how fresh the ingredients were. Not to forget that the food came quickly, and the staff, they were super nice.
Priced at $39, it has a starter, a salad, a main course, drink and dessert. Thats a pretty decent meal, but I did wonder if it would have made any big difference if I had ordered the same as ala carte, or, would it actually be cheaper ? Not sure, didn't do the math....
Food is eaten, the remaining packed and brought home, and bill paid, it does not matter now, and most importantly I enjoyed it. At the end of the meal felt fresh and satisfied. ( thumbs up )
Btw, a side of hummus is free if you Yelp check in and that comes with- u guessed it- Pita and u choose between the bread or the chips.
Not many people seemed to dine in am not sure why though, in fact, we were the OnLY two people. There was but a constant count of bags flowing out of the kitchen for to-gos and uber eats and all those other apps. No kidding, the kitchen was so busy getting these orders ready and they were picked up in quick turns by the delivery guys or customers themselves. It was like clockwork.
The patio has cute seating arrangement and its dog friendly too out there.
I most definitely will come here again for the food - fresh, simple, tasty, served by a ever helpful friendly staff, who am sure must be thinking we are new to the city since we dined IN the restaurant:) ;) rather than take- away like literally everyone else !Helpful 41Thanks 4Love this 48Oh no 0Business owner information

Craft Pita is a bright and open space that encourages socializing while dining. The Lebanese Tacos and Pitadilla were delicious and flavorful. The pita is not too thick, yet it is still dense enough to balance the soft chicken and melted mozzarella. The roasted cauliflower is small and will fill you up quickly. The Rose Water Pink Lemonade tasted like regular lemonade. The women's restroom is clean with a helpful vacant/occupied labeled lock. This is a dog friendly restaurant that has won many awards in Houston. I will be recommending Craft Pita and will return soon!

This place was recommended to me by a friend and we ended up coming here after a sweat class, for brunch. It's a relatively small restaurant, but it was still nicely decorated and had ample space outside as well for seating. The staff was friendly and were helpful in helping me take my order too, so it was overall a great first impression upon walking in.
The food though... was delicious. My girlfriend had mentioned that she had been craving their wrap, and for good reason. It was absolutely delicious. The spicy garlic sauce just made all the unique flavors come together in a melodic blend of deliciousness. I absolutely enjoyed every bite! It was also incredibly filling too. I didn't feel an ounce of guilt finishing up my chicken wrap. I also enjoyed the cheese bread and hummus as appetizers, and the cheese bread mostly looked like cheese pizza, but it was good. Definitely recommend this place, especially after a good workout too!Helpful 5Thanks 0Love this 4Oh no 0Business owner information

If you love Mediterranean food, then you need Craft Pita in your life. I now order from here regularly for both myself at home and meetings in the office. Craft Pita uses locally sourced ingredients and menu items. For instance: a local bakery for cookies, a local Booza shop for their MIND BLOWING BAKLAVA ICE CREAM!!! Local dairies, produce, etc. The food is SO GOOD. They have a pretty extensive menu. (NOTE TO THE OWNER: Please get dolmas!!!! ) I have never had anything here that I didn't like. I now have clients at work requesting this place. Everything is delicious, fresh and authentic. (Don't sleep on the rewards program.)

This healthy Mediterranean fast-casual restaurant has two locations in Houston, this one occupying a spacious spot in the Plaza in the Park strip center. The differentiating factor from the many other similar concepts is that Craft Pita uses organic ingredients and sources locally, has plenty of vegan options, plus their olive oil is imported from Lebanon, where the founder's family owns an olive orchard. We ordered take-out, but the wait was around 10-15 mins, so we had plenty of time to take in the sleek and bright design and notice the outdoor patio space.
I selected a Hummus Bowl with Rotisserie Chicken, which their website advertises as marinated for a day in a mix of 13 spices. The hummus itself was on the flat side and lacked complexity on the palate. The whole chickpeas, pine nuts, parsley, and Aleppo pepper were fantastic additions though that were unique. The toum/garlic aioli was fantastically savory and creamy. The pickled turnips and red cabbage added some acidity and crunch, respectively. The chicken, however, was surprisingly bland and didn't impress me much. Overall, a healthy and satisfying meal, but not one that I would necessarily write home about - a 3.5/5 in my book.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0Business owner information

Hey Ritodhi,
Sounds like overall you really enjoyed your food. That savory garlic aioli/toum is meant to go on top of the chicken to kick it up a few notches. Look forward to you coming back to try the rest of our menu. Please ask for me on your next visit and I will be sure to tell you how we prepare our hummus and chicken. Thanks for the feedback.

Happy Hour everyday? Count me in!
After going to a Yelp event at the new Craft Pita in West University, decided to bring my staff to the original craft pita for a holiday happy hour celebration after work.
Ordered so many delicious dishes.
The spicy hummus packs some heat. Order some pita chips for dipping. So addictively delicious. The seasonal beet hummus is so good and so pretty.
For salads, the tabbouli salad is so fresh and healthy. The Fattoush salad is literally one of my favorites. Greens, radishes, carrots, mint and cucumbers with pomegranate vinaigrette and topped with toasted pita chips. So light and so yummy.
Sides, sides and more sides.
The roasted potatoes are amazing! Lemon, paprika and cilantro with a drizzle of decadent garlic aioli sauce. Dip the crispy fries in that delicious aioli, too. The roasted cauliflower is another must to share.
Do you love pita, chicken and quesadillas? Definitely get the pitadilla. The roasted chicken is so good, especially if you add a bit of the garlic aioli sauce.
Add a manaeesh (Lebanese flatbread) to round out the menu. Get a za'ater, Lebanese cheese or half and half. Love the za'ater spices. Dip in the hummus. Delish!
Thanks to Rafi and his amazing staff at Craft Pita, the OG. Such a perfect place for a holiday happy hour with my work family.Helpful 28Thanks 0Love this 31Oh no 0Business owner information

Great Mediterranean Cuisine. Choose from shared plates, salads, sandwiches or bowls.
Want to sample a lot of different plates? Appetizer small plates are half priced from 3-6. From Lebanese cheese and za'atar flatbreads to falafel and roasted cauliflower, there are so many delicious choices.
The Yelp 100 checkin offer was the seasonal Texas spicy hummus. The house made hummus is topped with pine nuts, crispy chickpeas, Aleppo pepper and a hot sauce with a kick. Served with either pita bread or za'atar pita chips for dipping. The pita chips are addictively delicious.
The sandwiches and bowls can be customized with beef, chicken, falafel or veggies. The bowls come with a salad, couscous or a rice base. Finish your meal with a scoop of baklava ice cream. Delish!
