My sister mom and I had the best first experience at ChaCha's last Thursday we are from Valencia and visiting. We decided to do the happy hour and our food was absolutely delicious. If you go get the steak nachos they were to die for and the Cesar
salad was light perfect! The food was so good your tummy will leave happy! Our server Paul was such a sweetheart and has the best personality 10/10. We felt very comfortable and everything about chacha's was amazing. We will definitely be going back when we're in that area again. Thank you Paul and Chacha's 10/10Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Maddy G.CA, CA01Mar 19, 2024
This place is stellar for taco Tuesdays!
The drinks are great and the food is even better, the short rib tacos are so delish and the cotija cheese they used was so fresh!
Sarah B was our waitress and she was attentive and friendly!
Will be returning!Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Jeffrey M.Pomona, CA15711Mar 19, 2024

Amazing service and food! Our waiter was very attentive. Appetizers were put in before main entrees were brought out giving it an upscale ambiance. The food is fresh and flavorful.

Lots of yummy foods! They have Taco Tuesday specials!
I enjoyed their Fresh Fish and Steak Mojo Tacos. You can order tacos a la carte.
The second time I visited I tried the Carne Asada and 3 Enchiladas Combinations. I will definitely be ordering this again next time!Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Mar 3, 2024
Whether it is for Sunday brunch or lunch or dinner, I enjoy visiting this restaurant anytime, any day. Superb service, hip interior, excellent food choices and the amazing aroma and taste of each dishes are the reasons why I can't wait to come back again soon.
One thing that you should know is that this is not a Mexican restaurant. It says on the name of the restaurant - Latin Kitchen so I sometimes see people get disappointed because it's not the same palette as Mexican food. I repeat, it is NOT. Mexican cuisine uses far more spicy peppers than most other places. Also, Spanish cuisine often relies on olive oil, garlic, saffron, tomatoes, and seafood such as cod, anchovies, and squid. Mexican cuisine makes abundant use of ingredients like corn, beans, chili peppers, tomatoes, avocados, and a wide range of fresh herbs and spices.
My favorite signature entree from this place is always Fresh Seafood Caldo, which has shrimp, clams, fresh fish, squid, saffron-tomato broth, herbs and toasted angel hair. Unfortunately, you can only get it at dinner. Also, their Carne Asada, which comes with roasted potatoes, achiote onions, poblano peppers and fresh chimichurri is incredible. If you are a dessert lover, they have flan, tres leches cake, churros and ice cream, which you should get all in my opinion.
They have a calendar of events, which are the deals everyday so take advantage of that.Helpful 2Thanks 1Love this 4Oh no 0 - Mar 15, 2024Updated review
Great place to have brunch, especially if you're with people that like mimosas, if so, then this is your place.
Bottomless mimosas until 3pm.
Their food was pretty good, we all agreed within the group.
Great service and the location is spot on incase you want to keep the day going.
Definitely a go to spot for me.
The only item I think they can improve on is the Michelada.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 1Aug 1, 2021Previous reviewGreat place to come on a Friday, Saturday, Sunday or any day of the week. Great happy hour specials.
We came here for drinks and appetizers only and loved them all.
Their beef empanadas have this amazing sauce, sorta like mole.
The flautas are also great with a mango sauce.
Another thing I highly recommend is the ceviche sampler app.
It's ahi tuna aguachile, more taste less spice, also the regular ceviche has great taste all together.
Definitely coming back. - Mar 15, 2024Updated review
Finally got to come for the Wednesday half price enchiladas deal!
Ms. Karla was so calm and welcoming and explained the enchiladas and questions in detail, so nice and accommodating.
Tried the grilled romaine salad, but figured with chicken would be too much food so requested for just the salad and deduct the chicken. Ended up saving a buck, so just get the standard with the chicken:)
The 3 enchiladas plate came with 1 each of Crab&Shrimp, Chicken, Cheese and rice and beans.
- Crab&Shrimp one was excellent with great seafood flavors, that one was my favorite.
- Chicken was good as well, but it was perfect with the delicious spanish rice to become like an arroz con pollo!!!
- Cheese didn't do anything for me, maybe just a filler in case you need more food.
- Not much of a beans person, but when ordering you had the option to get the standard rice/beans, all rice, all beans. Definitely go all rice!'
Wasn't sure if the sauces would be spicy so got my kid the same but with sauce on the side, which worked perfectly. He also loved the spanish rice, has my taste buds, lol.
Got the the prickly pear margarita for wife and I did a repeat as last year with the grande classic.
Think the grande classic was a bit weaker than last year maybe.
Prickly pear one had multi dimensional flavor profile and was interesting, wife enjoyed it.
And as concluded last year after sharing 1 flan, we each wanted our own flan this time, no thanks to sharing!!!
Greed got to us though, a full flan per person or kid was a bit much, but no regrets better than wishing I had one more bite!
I think perfect would be 1/2 or 2/3 flan per person, so next time will go for 2 flans:)
Great specials, can't beat $12.50 enchiladas.
Now need to try the taco Tuesday on the next chance...Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0Mar 28, 2023Previous reviewHad a great dinner on a Monday with the BOGO entree! (need to go to their website under Happenings and print out a coupon)
Other deals during the week, the Wednesday 1/2 price enchilada looks like another good one to try.
You can make online reservation, it's kind of hidden on their website under the Locations tab, scroll down to the Brea reservations.
Frequently ate Bruxies across the street and passed by Cha Cha's many times, but never actually been. It's a huge restaurant! Big space inside and plenty of space outside covered patio.
Went ahead and got some margaritas, wife went for Cha Cha's $13, and I went for the Classic.
Julio suggested better deal to get the large 16oz vs, regular 8oz.
Wife doesn't drink too much, so I went large on my classic $20.
The large was indeed big and I was glad to have plenty of it since it was tasty.
Chips and 2 salsas served of course.
Went for the kid's nacho chicken for the boy. It was actually a huge plate of it and he loved it, he ate probably 75% of it, lol.
Ordered a ceviche sample (one with ahi, one with shrimp). Not sure which one I liked more, both were great! Shrimp one was more refreshing, Ahi was also refreshing but with a touch of spice maybe. Can't go wrong with either, glad I got the sample to try both.
For the 2 entrees, got the Carne Asada and Catch of the Day (mahi mahi this day).
- Carne Asada cooked medium = wow, great flavors! I love chimichurri and like making at home too, but this may be one of the best I've had in a long time! It had sufficient garlic I love, but it had an additional "something" that I wish I could figure out to incorporate into my own chimichurri! The beef quality could be a bit better, but really didn't mind with the awesome chimichurri! I would get this again, maybe medium rare will be better. Whatever, gimme extra chimichurri and I would eat this all day!
The potato/veggie was seasoned perfectly as well, wife ate up the potato!
- Catch of the day - mahi mahi = fish grilled nicely with good zucchini sides. Wife liked seasoning as is, but I felt the fish could use a bit more flavor. Adding the green salsa from the chips/salsa to the fish made for a great flavor explosion.
Both plates cleared completely by us. We can try the salmon next time to see how good that is:)
I believe both proteins were grilled over some charcoal/wood, had just enough smoke flavor to it without being too much.
Flan for the dessert = EXCELLENT flan! Easily the best had in LA. The multi dimensional flavor and texture of it was fantastic. The fresh cream was so milky good, I only got a taste of it before my boy ate it all up! This flan is a MUST order!
I want to try the Wednesday special with the enchiladas and get each person their own flan next time!
This place can definitely host big parties. Nice big space and nice bathrooms too:) I guess music was a bit loud inside, maybe outside is nicer if want to have some conversations. I don't talk much when there's good food and drinks to be had, so I enjoyed the vibes inside. - Feb 21, 2024
Mediocre place. Small portions, food is average at best and pricey for what you get. Service is decent. Ambience is lively.
Came here one afternoon for happy hour. The happy hour menu is basically just the bar menu and goes on all day all night. There's no discount on the price. The portion size is small.
Got a few things to try and everything tasted mediocre.
Service was ok, food is overpriced and mediocre. You can watch sports at the bar which is a plus. Probably will never come back.Helpful 12Thanks 4Love this 13Oh no 0
