The chilequilles had outstanding flavor and freshly made tortilla chips.
The Lemon Ricotta pancakes (opted for gluten free) were really good especially for being gluten free! There are so many menu options that sounds so good that we definitely have to come back to try them all.
The service is great and fast.
We dined on the patio with our fur baby where they provided blankets and heaters.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Anthony C.Orange County, CA1262032Apr 25, 20241 check-in
Stopped by since we were near by for an event, I was craving a breakfast burrito. The dining room has cute barn aesthetic. They did take few minutes to get to us for orders. The burrito was too wet and bland. The beans made everything wet. I got a sausage burrito, and didn't get much bites of sausage. The salsas were bland and not enough.
Overall would not reccomend. The breakfast burrito is a baitHelpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Arjay U.San Diego, CA18491639Apr 7, 2024

My family and I live walking distance and have been coming here for years! The service is always friendly and quick, even when they are busy! We last visited friday april 12th and had Amanda as our server. She was so amazing and even gave us a sampler of the quinoa and coconut porridge! I had never had it before and am now craving it days later....

Beach plum remains a family favorite because of the amount of options and the quality of all the food! We love being able to build our own omelets and the different sides. Be sure to try the coffee cake and the sourdough bread WITH their jam selection.
Also this place has really good drip coffee, I occasionally opt for their matcha!Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 1Jan 20, 2023Previous reviewSO GOOD!!! The service was so amazing they even gave me a cup of coffee to go!! The coffee is delicious, I had the myo omelette and it also tasted amazing. They had a unique selection of jams that I was very pleased with and the toast was incredible as well. Their waffle was dense and not overly sweet, loved that as well. Make sure to get breakfast potatoes on the side!

The menu is a delightful journey through health-conscious vibrant food. This is, hands down, my favorite brunch spot.

Came here on a busy sunday morning. I would say my favorite thing to eat was the chicken fried chicken, it was crispy, savory, big portion for the price and I loved the country gravy!
Big shoutout to our server Jessica L. She was super helpful when we were figuring out what to order, so friendly, and just made our morning! If you ever dine in, make sure to get her as your server!Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Feb 2, 20241 check-in
Fast service, friendly staff, moderately loud, tasty ingredient combos, delicious and innovative house-made delicacies, surrounding customers ordered every type of meal and all looked amazing. Ours was delicious. Recommend highly.

Had a pretty good experience here!
Parking - in a shared shopping center. You could get lucky with front parking, but if during brunch hours, may need to park near the other shops and walk a little. Not too bad though
Service - For brunch time on a Saturday, we had a party of 6 with a dog, so had to do outdoor patio seating. VERY surprised that we only had to wait 5 min or so after putting in our name. I felt like I won the lottery. The waitress was very kind too, thinking of the sun beaming on us and thinking of how to provide us more shade. She was very nice and professional.
Ambiance - Seems like almost every other brunch place in San Diego/North County area. Nothing spectacular or unique when it comes to decor or ambiance. Nothing to complain about, but also nothing to boast about.
Food - Overall, everyone was pleased with their food. You have a lot of the same brunch offerings that the other places have. Typical breakfast stuff. I got the smoked salmon and potato cakes. It was very good! I also liked that they had Soju Baby Driver (mimosa with Soju instead of champagne). Although it didn't taste like Soju, nor did it taste like orange juice.
Price - Some of the items were fairly priced. But I feel like my meal alone (smoked salmon with potato cakes and Soju driver) were very highly priced. It is in the part of Carlsbad with the higher incomes, so makes sense this may seem average to them.Helpful 4Thanks 1Love this 3Oh no 0 - Alexa B.Foothill Ranch, CA163619Jan 22, 2024
This was worse than a Denny's. My matcha latte was just a huge mug of milk, and my mom's chai latte was cold and flavorless. We got the kids gluten free pancakes at the suggestion of the waitress because they were dairy-free (my kids can't have dairy), but she said nothing about an extra $2 charge to make them gluten-free or I would've ordered them eggs instead! My mom and I both got the traditional eggs Benedict. It was just okay, except the potatoes were dry and tasteless and mealy and way too big of a portion (who needs that much of a bad thing?!)...like I said, the same quality as a low-end chain breakfast place. My husband got the breakfast burrito and said it was "nothing special."
All in all I would NOT recommend this place, and would NOT go back. Not to mention this place had a 30 minute wait (it was more like 15 in reality). I'm not sure how it could have a wait with how horrible it was! What a waste of $70.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 1
