Goodbye, 105 Noshery. The community is so sad and shocked that you closed suddenly without warning on November 9, 2022.
Service and food were a mixed bag. Inexperienced, new server during my first visit when reopening after lockdown. Popular dishes would run out during weekend brunches. Restaurant was a bit pricy and sometimes difficult to get into, so that's what stopped me from going more often. I did visit 3 times. Here are the food items I loved and daydreamed about:
1. Crab Cake Benedict with fried green tomatoes (or any Eggs Benedict dish here!)
2. Brioche French Toast
3. Azteca Mocha coffee drink
4. Straus Family Creamery vanilla bean ice cream with chocolate gravy and peanut brittle (Order either the sundae or the mud pie)
David, the last server I had, was wonderful, friendly, and kind. You could spot owners Randy and Lisa Peters circulating around the restaurant.
I loved that there was live music. I watched Cliff Huey perform during my last visit. He sang Happy Birthday to one of the guests.
Vaneli's coffee was served here.
105 Noshery was kind and generous to give an enormous slice of their delicious Mud Pie to guests on their birthday. It looked big enough to share with 4 people!
The Country Fried Prime Rib Steak (CFPRS) was on my list to try. I heard the drinks were great. I never made it to Happy Hour here.
Other items I tried were the Pork Belly Burnt Ends, Creme Brulee Vanilla Cappuccino, Folded Eggs with Prime Rib, and Shrimp and Grits. I did like the cheesy grits, but I only got two overly seasoned shrimp. Pork Belly Burnt Ends and Shrimp & Grits were listed under appetizers, and they are indeed meant to be shared because they are too flavorful and rich to serve as a main entree. Folded eggs were beautiful but too plain tasting to me.
So much regret not ordering the Crab Cake Benedict and the chocolate gravy vanilla ice cream desserts before they closed. Is there a chance you'll come back again, 105 Noshery? So sorry I didn't go more often.
Best wishes in expanding your catering and event center business!Helpful 10Thanks 0Love this 13Oh no 0 - 366148546Nov 6, 2022
This is my go to brunch place in Roseville!
I just tried their Louisiana Chicken and Waffle, and WOW! I am very impressed. The chicken was soft inside and crunchy on the outside. The waffle was lathered in buttery goodness with syrup on the side, it was just *chef's kiss*.
The service was quick, I do advice going into Open Table and making a reservation because it gets busy. The ambience is perfect for a Sunday brunch, live music and great vibes.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - 6232522Nov 2, 2022
My partner asked me where I wanted to go for my birthday and I saw Yelp recommend this place recently. I'm so glad they did, as this is now my favorite place. You can't go wrong with ordering anything from here from appetizers, to entrees and even desserts and spirits! You will want to come back to try everything at least once.
I wound up getting the crab cakes for an appetizer, which melt in your mouth. A hearty portion of seafood pasta for my entree and I washed that down with a local revision IPA style beer. Which leaves me to my tip, dessert!
Tip for the dessert you better have some serious stomach room, I've been here three times and I've yet to finish this ice cream with my date. It comes out with a knife stuck in it to show you the trouble you've set fourth on lol.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Jun 16, 2022
The food was really really good. Our reservation was at 630pm and we weren't seated until 655pm so that was kind of annoying. The wait time between apps and dinner was long, it felt like our server had too many tables and couldn't keep up. I would come back because of how good the food.
Tried again for brunch and a much better experience. Wait time was long but the service was greatHelpful 2Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - May 14, 2022
TL;DR: Not worth the price, not worth the lack of taste- I wouldn't come here ever again.
This is our first time coming here and honestly we won't be back. We came 15 min after their 0900 opening and they had more than 10 tables empty. She asked if we made a reservation (which you cannot make online) and we said no. We were then asked to either sit at the bar or out on the sidewalk.
We asked the hostess what we would do to make a reservation- since it clearly looked that there weren't many made, and we are living in a post COVID tech world, I was shocked to hear that the only way was to personally call her.
It was giving- we will serve you, but you're less than...
Next was the menu. First of all the menu was huge. Which is a red flag in itself. One spread for things that you can order before noon and at least 6 pages of things that you can't open until after noon.
It took us forever to read through the NONSENSE of the menu since they name everything differently than what it's called (i.e omelets=folded eggs) and don't even get me started on the eggs Benedict.
As we ordered we started with orange/carrot juice, at a whopping $6 for a half pint. I asked for an iced latte and got Carmel flavored milk pint for $10.
We were waiting for our food and oversaw/overheard the couple next to us get a latte and they were given a lovely white cup with giant red lip marks on it. Disgusting. Do they even wash their dishes? Do they even pay attention to detail?
We ordered the chocolate gravy and biscuits and we were grossly disappointed. It took about 20 min to come out which I thought was a good sign until I felt the cast iron, barely even lukewarm. It was clear they warmed the plate and put biscuits in there after. The biscuits were cold, and the chocolate tasted like burnt chocolate with Nutella and campfire ash. I couldn't even eat the actual dish because the taste of the chocolate was so overwhelmingly awful.
The waiter came out and asked how the biscuits were and we were honest, awful. We were going to pay for them and he said he'd take them off since we don't like them. We then waited another 30 min watching everybody around us get their food but us.
We saw a family of three come in 25 min after us and eat and finish their food before we even got ours. It took a total of an hour to get out our breakfast.
The pork belly hash came with fried green tomatoes and that was the the good on the plate.
The eggs Benny came with house potatoes and honestly they were super mushy.
All in all, glad we stopped by to know that we will NOT be coming back again.
I would also like to note that after an hour and a half of sitting here there are still at least 15 tables INSIDE THE RESTURANT that are still empty.Helpful 3Thanks 0Love this 4Oh no 0 - Nov 30, 2022
As I started this review, I learned of the closure of this great establishment. We had the pleasure of finding this place on a trip to Berklee earlier in the year and loved it so much that we returned on November 6 as we were driving through Roseville on the way to Sacramento. Come to find out that this was just 3 days prior to the closing. We had no idea and would never had guessed that they were preparing to close. We stopped in for breakfast and the place was packed just like the last time we were there. I know it isn't going to help anyone in the future to leave this review but I feel the owners and staff deserve the respect for running such a quality restaurant. I'm only sorry we found it so late. Good luck to you all in your future endeavors.

It was our first time going here. We wanted to try out a restaurant that we haven't gone to to celebrate our daughter's birthday.
The parking is limited in the premises so you have to park across the street. It wouldn't be a big deal but it's actually kind of dangerous because there's no traffic light so you're basically left making sure it's safe enough to cross and a lot of cars drive kind of fast on that street plus there's a blind section where it could be difficult to see if there's a car coming. We literally had to run across the street so we wouldn't get hit.
The restaurant itself is nice. You have a choice.... inside or outside. Which the outside is fully covered pretty nice. They have another tent area where they have live music. It's a pretty good size tent too. There's another section inside the restaurant where we were told is used for reserved parties.
The service was pretty good. Our waiter was very helpful with all the questions we had. The only thing I would complain about with the service is not checking to see if we needed more water frequently enough. My husband had to ask a couple of times for a refill. Other than that....great service!
Food was pretty good. I like that they had a few vegetarian dishes to choose from. Make sure you have an appetite before going here. Huge portions! My Cauliflower Steak was really good and huge! Our dessert was very good and HUGE! We felt bad because we didn't realize our ice cream sandwich came as two ice cream sandwiches and we were only able to finish half. Their mud pie is scary huge lol but really good. They have a float called Fur Baby Fur and for every float that is ordered a dollar goes to the Placer SPCA . Love that idea. All restaurants should have something like that to help the fur babies out.
My conclusion to this review is; Have an appetite when coming here. RSVP by 4pm for dinner I believe on Saturdays only (I could be wrong so check) because of their live music. I'm assuming it turns into a little club area for the evening. Be careful crossing the street. Enjoy!Helpful 3Thanks 0Love this 3Oh no 0 - Oct 6, 2022Updated review
Decided to try the restaurant today (versus the tent area with live music, see my previous review).
We were acknowledged and seated quickly.
While we weren't super stoked about where we were sitting (directly in front of the door), we didn't fuss about it because we knew that time was of the essence. We arrived just before 5pm so narrowly missed a potentially lengthy wait time.
Our server Kayley was wonderful. She was super sweet, efficient, and fun. It felt like she genuinely enjoyed her job and it came through in our interactions.
The Noshery Burger was ordered medium with an upgraded Spinach salad (one of the best salads I've had out). Word on the street is that these guys are getting serious recognition for their burgers and we aren't the least bit surprised. Cooked to perfection, all the right flavors, no one is leaving hungry after that meal.
Also ordered was the Mushroom Burger (not to be confused with the Vegetarian Portobello burger). This massive thing had mushrooms, Jalepeño cheese, and onion and bacon marmalade! Are we kidding me?? It was absolutely to die for. Also cooked to perfection, I would recommend bringing some sort of tire iron to unhinge your jaw first. When I said massive, I meant it.
I chose garlic fries and wish that I could have eaten every single one. Since I am not Joey Chestnut, I just couldn't. I was towing the line as it was.
Note: I'm late in finishing and posting this so "today" was actually this last Friday.Helpful 13Thanks 0Love this 13Oh no 0Dec 3, 2021Previous reviewDined in "Club Noshery" tonight which is located in the tent next door to the restaurant. Gorgeous set up and ambiance. There is live music here several days a week.
We had quick service and a phenomenal bartender (Bobby) on hand, who mixed up some excellent drinks.
Good chance you will meet the GM who walks around making sure that all is well and the owner is wonderful and engaged with his patrons as well! We were honored to be there and he made us feel as though he was honored to have us. We only see good things for 105 Noshery and now we know what the hype is about.
Ordered the chicken tacos which were yummy but the Noshery Burger with cheese (cooked Medium) with garlic fries STOLE THE SHOW.
Do yourself a favor, give it a shot. We rarely do something as silly as dine out in Roseville on a Friday night, but we did. Clearly the universe was looking out for us tonight. - Jan 30, 2022
Found this as a foodie restaurant in Roseville. We had a group of 6, which includes 2 kids. They could not seat us right away but gave us an option to find a seat inside the tent. They had a live band performing with was a bonus. The service was amazing. The bartender even cleaned up our table. I love how they all help each other.
Food: we started with crab cakes. I love that it was not fishy. The broccoli tots were ok. The bbq chicken and short ribs were so good. The Brussels sprouts and mash potatoes had a great flavor. The greens was ok. The bread pudding was so big and delicious.
Only reason they did not get five stars is that they don't serve breakfast all day yet it's on their menu. The note that they only serve that page was in fine print and was so easy to miss. Creating such a disappointment when we tried to order their shrimp and grits.
Overall, we look forward to camping back to be able to taste their breakfast menu.Helpful 7Thanks 0Love this 5Oh no 0 - Sep 10, 2022
I feel terrible writing bad reviews for a restaurant with such stellar serving staff, but the food here was subpar to say the least.
The meal started out alright. We came for brunch and were immediately seated, ordering some yummy fresh orange juice to begin.
Then our food came; my partner ordered an omelet and I got the crab cake benedict. The omelet was just a mass of mushrooms bound together with cheese and tossed into a bland, folded slab of egg. Could've been better with enhanced spicing and with a smaller volume of mushrooms (though they were cooked quite tastily) and having it all mixed in like a true omelet, instead of just tucked in like a pillow into a pillow sheet. And the crab cake benedict, though tasty, had 1. no variation in texture (all just soft and mushy) and 2. hard bits of cartilage or shell or something from the crab. I had to send it back, and they were kind enough to take it off the bill and give me a replacement bologna benedict.... but this one was lacking as well; the ham was chewy and tough, and I just couldn't eat the soggy mass atop. Luckily they took it away and off the bill as well (felt horrible about it, but menu items were exceedingly expensive; call me cheap but I can't be paying for an entree I didn't eat!).
Both of our plates came with a meager "brunch salad": a total of three or four leaves of lettuce with two grapes and some pickled onions. Delicious, but such a tiny portion! And both also came with potatoes. We asked for fries, but I guess 105 Noshery calls their roasted house potatoes "fries"; this weird naming would've been overlooked except for the fact that they were not good. Dry, flavorless, and some not fully cooked. Couldn't finish them. And finally, I got a side of bacon steak to try it out... hard, tough, too thick... I would pass on it if I could redo my order.
I felt as if I were going crazy, because I'm very rarely a picky eater, but it was just an avalanche of little things adding up. Giving this place two stars solely for the servers, honestly; they were polite, attentive, and quick to fix the many problems with the food. I do hope that this experience was either a fluke OR that the food gets better because otherwise the place has promise! It's a cute location with great decor and good service.Helpful 5Thanks 0Love this 4Oh no 0
