Featuring

Neil Nedley, MD

Neil Nedley, MD, is a full-time practicing physician in Internal Medicine with an emphasis in Gastroenterology, Mental Health, Lifestyle Medicine, and the difficult-to-diagnose patient. He has provided continuing medical education courses to physicians and health professionals around the world. He has also given numerous health education seminars to general public audiences worldwide.

He is the author of the books, Depression-the Way Out, Proof Positive, and The Lost Art of Thinking: How To Improve Emotional Intelligence and Achieve Peak Mental Performance as well as the author of the 8-part DVD Workbook Series that is used extensively in mental health education programs throughout the U.S. and other countries. He designed a test that helps an individual or physician determine the specific operative causes that impair mental performance. The test also determines levels of depression and/or anxiety (if present) and the level of emotional intelligence.

Dr. Nedley is President of Weimar Center of Health and Education that runs a residential lifestyle center, academy, and college in the beautiful foothills of the Sierra Mountains outside Sacramento, California.

Dr. Nedley is an instrument-rated pilot. He and his wife Erica have four boys. All family members enjoy flying, bicycling, mountain hiking, snow skiing, tennis, and performing or listening to good sacred and classical music.

Elder Randy Maxwell

Randy Maxwell is the vice president for administration and director of prayer ministries in Washington Conference. He pastored churches in Idaho and Washington for 16 years and served 18 years at Pacific Press Publishing Association in Nampa, Idaho.

Randy is the author of eight books, including If My People Pray, and his newest release, Closing Prayers: Facing the Final Crisis on Our Knees. Pastor Maxwell was also heard every weekend for four years on 820AM The Word Seattle on the “Hope for Today” radio program. When time permits, Randy enjoys golf, home improvement projects, and has taken a recent interest in puzzles (for his mental health).

Randy and Suzette have been married 44 years. They have three adult children, one son-in-law, and three adorable grandchildren (one sleeps in Jesus awaiting the resurrection). The motto that drives Randy’s life and ministry is: “The need is great. The key is prayer. The time is now.”

Brian Schwartz, MD

Brian Schwartz, MD, is an Interventional and Structural Heart Cardiologist and serves as Medical Director of the Heart and Vascular Service Line at Kettering Health in Dayton, Ohio.

Dr. Schwartz is also active in peripheral vascular disease care. He earned his medical degree from Loma Linda University. He is board certified in Cardiovascular Diseases and Interventional Cardiology and has completed fellowship training in peripheral vascular diseases. He is a fellow of the American College of Cardiology.

Having been personally touched by the power of the gospel, Dr. Schwartz longed to make his medical work a healing ministry. His association with AMEN has helped him integrate prayer and Christian spirituality into his practice in a more intentional and natural way.

Dr. Schwartz served as AMEN president for 5 years and editor of the Medical Evangelist (AMEN’s Journal) for 10 years.

He and his wife, Lyndi, also a physician, have a passion for the gospel and ministry.

Lyndi Schwartz, MD

Lyndi Schwartz, MD, is a graduate of Loma Linda University's School of Medicine. She is the Program Director for the Internal Medicine Residency at Kettering Medical Center in Ohio.

While she is a physician, her first love is the Bible. She teaches the Word every opportunity she gets, including teaching a large Sabbath School class most weeks at her church in Centerville, Ohio.

She has been married to Brian Schwartz for more than 25 years. Together they are active in several supporting ministries and have spoken nationally and internationally on topics of both health and theology.

Laura Williams

Laura Williams is a singer/songwriter/recording artist who runs a full time music/media ministry with her husband, Ernie. Together they travel all over providing concerts and music for evangelistic meetings, conventions, television stations, schools, hospitals, prisons and wherever else the Lord opens the doors for them to go. Along side Laura’s music, Ernie founded New Creation Media. A media company dedicated to digital evangelism. He offers services for audio, video and photography projects.

Laura believes music is a powerful tool that can be used to spread the gospel and point people to Christ. Sometimes a song can go where a sermon can not. Together, Laura and Ernie have dedicated their lives to taking the message of the gospel to all whom they can reach for as long as God continues to open the way.
