The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Fort Worth District welcomes you to Waco Lake, located in Waco, Texas. Our mission: supply water to the city of Waco and surrounding areas; to provide flood control to the Waco area, and to offer some of the best fishing, camping and boating in Texas.

Zebra Mussels

Zebra mussels have been found in Waco Lake. However, steps are being taken to prevent the mussels from taking over the lake. And for now, it might be working. Learn how to stop the spread of Zebra Mussels in Texas lakes and rivers.
