The Community Investment Corporation of Decatur focuses on community improvement and capacity building, and is anot-for-profit lenderthat provides financing to entrepreneurs and businesses to develop and grow in the Decatur area.
CICD provides counseling for 1st time home buyers; foreclosure prevention; and some credit counseling. CICD partners with HUD, IHDA, and other agencies; both public and private, to provide this counseling.
CICD in partnership with other agencies and groups to combat homelessness, and through those partner agencies to provide emergency, temporary, and permanent housing for those in need.
