FIESTAS PATRIAS 2023

Join the celebration for this year’s 32nd Annual Mexican Independence Day Celebration on the Llano Estacado.  The purpose of Fiestas Patrias Lubbock is to celebrate Mexican Independence Day by embracing our Hispanic heritage in art, dance, music and the wonderful flavors of authentic Mexican cuisine.

You are invited to be a part of the annual Fiestas Patrias Parade on Saturday, September 16, 2023 at 10:00am.

*Parade Line up starts at First Baptist Church on Broadway at 9:00am, will travel east to Ave. M and end at Mahon Library. You may walk, bring multiple cars, have a truck and trailer.

. We not only reflect on the importance of September 16th and Mexican Independence, but we are proud to kick of the City of Lubbock’s Hispanic Heritage Month in which we celebrate and recognize all of the Latinx community.
