We are seeking several interventional and invasive cardiologists to join our expanding practices in Louisiana and Mississippi. We also offer peripheral interventional fellowship training opportunities.

PVD Fellowship

Interventional Fellows will work with the country’s leading peripheral interventionalist in this one-year program designed for the interventional cardiologist who has an interest in PAD diagnosis and interventions. We have state-of-the-art cath labs and excellent hospital relationships.

  • Advanced Comprehensive PAD Interventional Training – Hands on
  • Working primarily with Dr. Craig Walker
  • Opportunity to work with other CIS physicians
  • Clinic time required for PAD patient evaluation and diagnosis
  • Occasional Hospital rounds/consults

Requirements

    • Program intended for Interventional Cardiologists

    • Louisiana Medical License or ability to obtain

    • Board Certification in Cardiology and/or Interventional Cardiology

    • U.S. Citizens, Green Card

Location

Our fellows work on-site at the Cardiovascular Institute of the South Ambulatory Surgery Center in Gray, Louisiana.

Program Length

Fellowship is for 12 months, or one year.

Compensation

Pay for the fellowship is $100,000 annually + CIS employee benefits.

Start Date

Start dates are flexible depending on Louisiana license and hospital privileges

Professional Liability Insurance

Professional liability insurance is provided by CIS.

Housing & Travel

Housing and transportation costs are paid by the fellow.
