What local issues are important to you?

There are many issues that impact WWU students in Bellingham and Whatcom County.  Each spring, the ASWWU Office of Civic Engagement (OCE) and Legislative Affairs Council (LAC) organize a day of lobbying and advocating for student issues to local governments.  Let us know what issues are important to YOU so that we can effectively represent the Western student body.  

Students who take the survey will be automatically entered to win one of eight $25 Visa gift cards.

• Please only respond if you are a student at Western Washington University
• All responses to this form will be kept confidential

How the Local Lobby Day process works:
1. Students will fill out this survey
2. The LAC, a student committee, will utilize the top results from this survey to build a list of legislative actions to advocate the local government for
3. Students will be invited to sign up to lobby
4. On Friday, May 7th, groups of students will meet with various local officials to urge them to adopt the various positions on our official agenda
