As a freshman, he worked in eight games with one start in 15.1 innings, allowing 17 hits and striking out 15 ... he made his lone start of the year with three innings, allowing two runs vs. Prairie View A&M, fanning five with two walks  ... Worked a shutout frame on eight pitches vs. Charlotte in the C-USA Tournament.
