2018-19 - Concluded her first season in the green and gold as the only player to appear and start in all 30 games for the Lions … All-MIAA Honorable Mention selection … one of eight newcomers/transfers to land on the MIAA Academic Honor roll (3.15 GPA) … averaged 5.9 rebounds a game and grabbed 178 total rebounds to lead the squad and assist them up the MIAA rankings to fifth in rebounding margin and sixth in total rebounds … finished second on the team in scoring with 11.6 points per game and 346 total points … put together three performances of 20 points or more which included a season-high  24 points on 70-percent shooting from the field (7-for-10) and a 10-for-12 stretch at the free-throw line against Southwest Baptist (1/12) … recorded double-digits in 17 out of 30 games for the Lions on top of two double-doubles as well … took hold of her first double-double in a Lions uniform versus Rogers State (12/1) by scoring 13 points and securing 12 rebounds … snagged a season-high 15 rebounds in the squads second game of the Puerto Rico trip against Pontifical Catholic (11/21) along with three other occasions of ending the contest with double-digit rebounds …  was part of a defensive unit that limited opponents to a three-point field-goal percentage of .309 for sixth in the MIAA … played 29 minutes and scored a team-high 16 points (7-for-12) while grabbing five rebounds in her first MIAA playoff matchup against Central Oklahoma (3/6).

Prior to Southern - Comes way of Ouachita Baptist University where the 5’11 guard played two years under head coach Garry Crowder … saw time in 28 games while starting in 23 of them, averaging 10.5 points per game on 45-percent shooting from the field and leading the Tigers in rebounds (5.0 rpg) and steals (1.3 spg) towards All-Great American Conference Honorable mention honors as a sophomore ... played in 28 games while starting in nine during her freshman year … averaged 10.4 points (42% FG), 4.6 rebounds, and 1.0 steal per game … prior to signing with the Tigers, the Springdale, Ark., product spent four years at Springdale high school under head coach Heather Hunsucker splitting time at the guard and forward position … captured Class 7A All-State Honors as well as Northwest Arkansas All-Region in both her junior and senior campaigns while closing out her scholastic career with 840 career points … after competing on the court, Owens took the role of shortstop on the softball squad throughout the spring.
