2019 - Appeared in seven games for the Lions starting in four as a linebacker while also being involved with the all-star team's... Finished the season with 14 tackles, 2.5 TFL’s and two quarterback hurries… The season opener against Nebraska-Kearney (Sep. 5) Vaughn recorded seven tackles (four solo), including 2.5 TFL’s and a quarterback hurry... One of eight Lions to capture MIAA Academic Honor Roll status. 

2018 - Saw action in nine games as a linebacker and a member of the special teams unit… Had two tackles against Lindenwood (Sep. 8)… Caught a pass against Missouri Western (Oct. 6). 

Prior to Southern - A two-sport athlete at Fulton HS where he played both basketball and football … As a football player finished his senior season with 90 -tackles, six interceptions and 15 touchdowns on the offensive side of the ball … A first-team All-Conference and All-District pick as both a football and basketball player.

Personal - Cameron is the son of Carolyn and Larry Vaughn and plans to major in kinesiology at Southern.
