We would love to have you join us!

You’ll love it. We do.

ALL ARE WELCOME.

What do volunteers DO?

On donation days, we sort through everything and organize.

Caseworkers, teachers, in home visiting nurses and professional care providers make requests on behalf of their clients and we fulfill those requests.

What does that look like? It means we shop the space for what is needed and assemble packages to be picked up and delivered to those who are living without those basics.

Current shifts:

Monday-Thursday 9am-12pm and 12pm-3pm

Friday & Saturday 9am-12pm

Tuesday 3pm-6pm or 6pm-9pm

Maine Needs is located at 332 Forest Avenue, Portland in the back lot of University Plaza (in the old Portland Yoga Project space). Right off exit 6B and easy parking!

Parents & caregivers are welcome to bring their children along. Responsible teenagers can come alone or with friends! Corporate and social groups are always welcome!
